Video of Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL): The ‘Right’ to Abortion, Which is Safer than Birth, Creates ‘Ob

In 1972 the SCOTUS came to the absurd conclusion that women have the constitutional right to go have their babies killed. It violates the 14th amendment protection that all of us are guaranteed not to be deprived of life without due process. It violates the notion of our inalienable right to life given to us by the Creator as per the Declaration of Independence. And liberals defend the barbarism to the very end, essentially declaring 'you can take the murder of the unborn from us when you pry it from our cold dead hands!' One such defender of abortion is the reprehensible Jan Schakowsky of Illinois, who said the Hyde Amendment that prohibits federal funding of abortion except in certain cases should be repealed outright, and also that "there's no evidence" that increasing access to abortion services encourages people to get abortions. Like increasing access to drugs wouldn't encourage drug use. Or the increased access to porn via the internet didn't encourage more viewing of porn. From CNS News: Congresswoman Calls for Repealing Hyde Amendment; Backs Assertion That Abortion is Safer than Childbirth. And that wasn't all. For good measure, she claimed that abortion, an unnatural act, is safer than birth, a natural one:
Terry Sallas Merritt, vice president of Whole Woman's Health, said during the event on Capitol Hill that abortion is 10 times safer than childbirth.
CNSNews.com asked Rep. Schakowsky if she agreed with Merritt.
"I'm assuming that was on a scientific finding that the insistence of mortality or illness or whatever is an adverse health affect is much more common in childbirth," the congresswoman said. "There are many more things that can go wrong than a first-trimester abortion, but, as was pointed out, in order for poor women to afford an abortion, it may take them a long time to get the money together. They're put in a more precarious health situation, the risks increase as well as the cost."
Good grief. The video:
The whole war thing is curious too:

CNSNews.com also asked Rep. Schakowsky if it is morally right to use the taxpayer funds of pro-life Americans to pay for abortion services.

"If we start down that path, then we say that people who don't want to fund wars don't have to pay taxes," she told CNSNews.com.
War is totally explicitly constitutional as that is how the US was founded. Abortion is not. There is also nothing immoral about war (plenty about that in the Bible). Abortion on the other hand is immoral. Abortion is on its way to killing more humans than all wars combined. 50 million in the US alone. Hundreds of millions in China alone. A vast river of innocent blood.
