The TSA Chief John Pistole was on CNN’s State of the Union and told Candy Crowley numerous times that although some of the TSA agent’s invasive touching may seem over the top… It’s all for our own good

TSA Chielf Pistole also told Candy Crowley that the US could adopt Israel’s “top-notch” security procedures but won’t because, “Americans don’t profile.”

The feds certainly wouldn’t want to upset anyone by using offensive profiling techniques.

So, instead they are groping and using naked scanners on innocent Americans.

In a moment of honesty, TSA Chief Pistole admitted today that Israel has effective security techniques but that we can’t use those techniques here in the US because “we don’t profile.”

CROWLEY: What’s over the line? What’s over the line?

All those things were fine. You saw a woman whose breasts were being felt. You saw a man whose — you know, had another man’s hand in his crotch. What’s over the line?

PISTOLE: I think that’s for the — the public to help inform that discussion. Clearly, if we are to detect terrorists, who have again proven innovative and creative in their design and implementation of bombs that are going to blow up airplanes and kill people, then we have to do something that prevents that. So it really comes down to the question…

CROWLEY: But the public didn’t have any choice in this. And there is outcry, and they don’t really know — I know that you’ve driven everybody to the TSA website and said, look here. But because you don’t want to reveal to terrorists what’s going to be checked, there’s no way for anybody to look at that website and know where they’re going to be touched and where it’s not allowed to be touched. And so what you seem to be saying is, you can be touched anywhere…

…PISTOLE: Well, I think the Israeli model, which a number of people have talked about, uses intelligence in a different way, profiling. And then if in terms of a pat-down, if they suspect you of something, you receive a very thorough pat-down there.

That is top-notch security. The question is, do we profile here in the U.S.? No, we don’t. So how then do we use intelligence that informs the decisions and judgments. And given what we saw from last night in terms of this new Web publication that describes in detail how the cargo bombs were done, how the design concealed, and how they are using technology to disguise and defeat the screening mechanisms we have in place, look, it’s a difficult question, Candy.

That’s right.

TSA Chief Pistole admitted that the Israel security procedures are “top-notch” but the US won’t use these techniques because America does not profile.

We wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings… Except innocent Americans.

A New Port Richey with a metal kneecap described her worst experience at the hands of TSA. Antonia Riggs Miernik says her granddaughter told her, “Grandmama, they touched you on your special girl spots.”

ABC Action News reported, via Darleen Click:

Antonia Riggs Miernik reluctantly rolls up her left pant leg, revealing a scar that runs down her knee. When Miernik was 27 years old, she was injured in a car crash, and “basically destroyed the knee.” Now, she has a metal knee implant.

One of the effects of the implant is that whenever the New Port Richey woman flies, she triggers the metal detectors at airport security. She says the normal procedure is that she is then subjected to a TSA pat down. She has experienced multiple pat downs since Sept. 11.

“I feel molested. I’d like to go take a shower with Lysol (afterwards),” Miernik said, describing the pat downs, which she said includes being “touched all over.”

Miernik said the worst experience she had came when her 7-year-old granddaughter was at the airport with her. When her granddaughter saw the pat down, “She went ‘Grandmama, they touched you on your special girl spots.’”

Miernik was mortified, as was her granddaughter, she said.. She believes the pat downs are unnecessarily intrusive, and she hasn’t even experienced the “more aggressive” pat downs the TSA started employing Oct. 29.

While most Westerners have never heard of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, this economic/military alliance, is set to become one the most powerful forces on the planet.


What is the SCO? According to the organization's own website:

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a permanent intergovernmental international organisation creation of which was proclaimed on 15 June 2001 in Shanghai (China) by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People’s Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Its prototype is the Shanghai Five mechanism.

The main goals of the SCO are strengthening mutual confidence and good-neighbourly relations among the member countries; promoting effective cooperation in politics, trade and economy, science and technology, culture as well as education, energy, transportation, tourism, environmental protection and other fields; making joint efforts to maintain and ensure peace, security and stability in the region, moving towards the establishment of a new, democratic, just and rational political and economic international order...

The Organisation has two permanent bodies – the Secretariat in Beijing and the Regional Counter-Terrorism Structure in Tashkent. SCO Secretary-General and RCTS Executive Committee Director are appointed by the HSC for a period of three years. From 01 January 2007 these posts are held by Bolat K.Nurgaliev (Kazakhstan) and Myrzakan U.Subanov (Kyrgyzstan) respectively.

The SCO member states occupy a territory of around 30 million 189 thousand square kilometers, which makes up three fifths of the Eurasian continent, and have a population of 1.5 billion, which makes up a quarter of the planet’s population.

India, Pakistan and Iran are hold 'observer' status with the SCO.

While virtually ignored by the MSM, the Communist press regards the SCO as a hugely important organization. It is seen as a means of re-aligning power away from the USA and the West in favor of the East and the Communist/Muslim world.

Significance of India, Russia, China cooperation

'The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) countries are going to be the new powerhouse of the world. It is in India’s enlighten­ed interest that we understand its importance as we are a country which desperately needs energy', CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat says in a statement this month. 'Trilateral co-operation between India, China and Russia has symbolic significance as it can dispel the notion that the 21st century is an American century.'

New Zeal As the head of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Prakash Karat is a hugely influential figure. The CPI(M) controls several state governments and has a strong bloc in the Indian Parliament as does the 'rival' Communist Party of India.

The recent meeting between India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Chinese Premier Hu Jintao and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the G-8 summit held tremendous potential in the changing world situation. Karat was delivering a talk on the 'Role of friendship societies in Indo-Russian relations'.

Karat said the 21st century was not going to be an American century. 'This will be an Asian century. Two countries, India and China, are to power Asia through their economic growth and political clout. Though a unipolar world appeared to emerge after the fall of the Soviet Union, current trends hint at a transition towards a multi-polar world which would be more balanced and equitable and with less scope for hegemony', Karat said.

Besides Asia, new power centres were developing in Europe, Latin America and Africa much to the 'dismay' of United States.

Emerging co-operation among India, Brazil and South Africa, which are important countries in the developing world, would [also] promote multi-polarity in the world.

New Zeal South Africa's Communist Party dominated government has been very active in promoting ties with Marxist led Brazil and heavily Marxist influenced India. South African deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Azziz Pahad, brother of leading SACP member and adviser to then President Thabo Mbeki, Essop Pahad has been particularly active in promoting ties to India.

Stating that energy was going to be a major issue in the 21st century, he said Russia’s energy diplomacy had signaled that it would be assertive in the new situation.

The six-member SCO comprising Russia, China and central Asian republics, would have an increasing role in world affairs.

Karat urged the Indian Govern­ment to understand the importance of the SCO in which India, along with Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan, were observers.

'If the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline became a reality, the country would get gas at one-quarter of its price in the international market. Russia was now co-operating with Iran, and India should use its ties with Russia to play an increasing role in central Asia', Karat said.

He said the present world situation underlined the need to maintain, nurture and strengthen India’s ties with Russia. In the earlier period of the Soviet Union, India had been greatly influenced by the first socialist experiment.

'Promotion of people-to-people relations was also important while developing strategic relations with countries like China and Russia and developing nations', Karat said.

New Zeal How will a nuclear disarmed West deal with a power bloc spanning Asia from Vladivostok to Kiev and from the Arctic circle to Southern India? Combine that with an alliance between nuclear capable, or near capable India, South Africa and Brazil, allied in turn to oil rich Venezuela and Iran and you start to see a potential problem.

Moscow's best friends in America, the Communist Party USA have issued a call for the ratification of the controversial New START treaty with Russia in the 'lame duck' session before Christmas.

Democrats are seeking to ratify the Treaty, with RINO Republicans, while the still have a solid majority in the Senate.

The Communist know that the Treaty would probably die in the next Senate and the 'window of opportunity' to help their Russian friends will be lost.

The usual suspects, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Joe Biden are all working on the same side as the Communist Party.

Writing in the Peoples World, the PW Editorial Board

Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl's abrupt announcement Nov. 16 that he opposes consideration of the New START treaty to cut U.S. and Russian nuclear missiles during the current congressional session imperils a vital step toward finally eliminating the world's only true weapon of mass destruction.

Other leading Republican senators have also expressed opposition to the agreement.

The treaty, signed last spring by President Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, would cut the two countries' long-range offensive nukes to 1,550 each, or about 30 percent. The U.S. and Russia have about 95 percent of such weapons in the world.

The pact has now had some 18 hearings by Senate committees.

Earlier this fall the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved New START, by a vote of 14-4. Three Republicans voted with the majority, including the committee's ranking Republican, Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar.

Ratification requires 67 votes in the full Senate. Supporters of the pact are pressing for ratification by the end of the year, before the Democratic majority shrinks in the new Congress.

Saying failure to ratify the treaty this year 'would endanger our national security,' Vice President Biden pledged the administration would continue to fight for its consideration before the Senate adjourns this year.

At a Nov. 17 news conference, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Foreign Relations Committee chair Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Sen. Lugar all called for approval in the current session...

The Communists finish the statement with a call for political pressure on Senators to get the deal signed and sealed.

'We say the world's security is endangered if this vital first step on the road to a world without nukes stalls out in the Senate. Contact your senators today and urge New START's ratification in 2010.'

While leftist Democrats, RINO Republican sellouts and their communist cheerleaders are urging America to disarm, the Russians and their Chinese allies are working through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to build an economic and military alliance to far surpass the old Warsaw Pact.

In a sign that global warming is in deep hot water, even the mainstream publication Investor’s Business Daily called global warming a ‘global scam’ and its wealth redistribution plans ‘Marxist’.

Just days after our editorial about UN climate official Ottmar Edenhofer saying “Climate policy has almost nothing to do anymore with environmental protection”, an Investor’s Business Daily (IBD) editorial ran a similar story about Edenhofer saying:

“This sounds like the Marxist principle: to each according to his need from each according to his ability — with a guilty conscience thrown in for good measure. As President Obama might put it, U.N. officials are seeking a “fundamental transformation” of the globe.

Given this administration’s willingness to compromise American sovereignty, we could soon see Americans taxed to fund a global scam — the ultimate form of taxation without representation.” [emphasis added]

While we have been warning of this exact thing for months there are still those who have swallowed the warming propaganda hook, line and sinker.

It has taken those of us willing to take the heat of challenging the constant drumbeat of a politicized complicit media and corrupt political leaders seeking to enrich themselves and their associates or reduce American to just another UN puppet to stand up for the truth. It is rewarding to see the light coming on in more and more places to illuminate the global fraud being perpetuated not only on Americans, but on the entire world.

This fraudulent enterprise is so broad and pervasive that its sheer scope lends it credibility. How could anyone conceive that so many ’scientists’, politicians and even world leaders can purposely deceive the populace for political or financial gain?

It was Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels who said:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

And his boss Adolph Hitler said “The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than a small one.” Well this one is a whopper.

A network of Muslim Schools in Great Britain teach a very interesting curriculum. You know the important things that you just gotta know to be a proud member of the 'religion of peace,' like how to chop off the hands of thieves’ and that Jews are plotting to take over the world.



Approximately 5,000 pupils attending weekend Muslim religious schools to learn that Jews were transformed into pigs and apes, and that stoning is an accepted punishment or that those who do not believe in Islam will be condemned to “hellfire” in death.

Another text for 15 year-olds teaches that thieves who break Sharia law should have their hands cut off for a first offence and their feet amputated for a subsequent crime. Teenagers are presented with diagrams showing where the cuts should be made.

A TV special on the BBC, reports that books containing lessons such as these were discovered at a network of 40 private schools teaching the Saudi Arabian national curriculum.The report even links those schools Saudi embassy. The TV Program shows these private Muslim schools using these extremist teachings on their websites.

Michael Gove, the Education Secretary, said last night that extremism, homophobia and anti-Semitism would not be tolerated in schools.

However, researchers claimed in a separate report that the education system was “not equipped” to deal with the threats posed by extremist organisations. The Policy Exchange think-tank said the Coalition’s new free schools, run by parents, teachers and charities, could be exploited by organisations seeking to indoctrinate young people. It also claimed that checks on groups running private schools were “piecemeal, partial and lack depth”. Mr Gove said Ofsted had been ordered to monitor part-time education providers closely.

The schools featured on the program were organized under an umbrella group called Saudi Students Clubs and Schools in the UK and Ireland. They are kind of a Muslim 'Sunday School,' meant to give Muslim children aged six to 18 a grounding the Islamic faith.



Gee we were never taught to chop off hands in Hebrew School (not even how to Chop Liver).

According to the BBC, a book for 15 year-olds teaches about Sharia law and its punishments. “For thieves their hands will be cut off for a first offence, and their foot for a subsequent offence,” it says. Two diagrams show where cuts should be made.



For acts of sodomy, children are told that the penalty is death. A textbook says there are different views on whether this should be done by stoning, or burning with fire, or throwing over a cliff. Textbooks for 15 year-olds revive the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” which teach that Jews want world domination.

In a statement, the Saudi embassy said: “Any tutoring activities that may have taken place among any other group of Muslims in the United Kingdom are absolutely individual to that group and not affiliated to or endorsed by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia.” The Saudi Ambassador told the BBC it was “dangerously deceptive and misleading” to discuss some of the texts outside of context.

I can't imagine a context where a curriculum like this isn't totally disgusting.

Since Iran’s Islamic revolution in 1979, most men stopped wearing ties as it represented the ‘corrupt’ west. In the first days of the revolution it was even claimed that men wearing ties were arrested and according to unofficial reports, had their ties cut off.

ONE of Scotland's foremost terrorism experts has warned the explosion at Gartocharn near Loch Lomond last week may indicate a terrorist attack on Britain is imminent.

Professor David Capitanchik, terror expert from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, told Scotland on Sunday that the blast, which was heard several hundred yards away and has raised the possibility of an al-Qaeda style training camp operating in the area bore the hallmarks of a test run. A former senior security source said: "This is somebody who is testing the viability of an explosive. They are testing out a mixture or some sort of device to see if it works."

He added: "I think it's pretty clear this is a big concern. Ever since Mumbai (a terrorist attack on the Indian city], when gunmen entered the building carrying explosives, we have been concerned about that.

"So someone testing devices to see if they will work is a worry."

He said the investigation would focus on specific hallmarks of terrorist activity.

"What they will be looking for is any traces or fragments which they can analyse to what nature of explosive it is - commercial, military or homemade.

"Depending on which it is and what debris they can find, they may be able to trace it back to who would use this, who would have exploded it."

Chief superintendent Calum Murray, divisional commander, Argyll, Bute and West Dunbartonshire, last night maintained that terrorism-related activity could not be ruled out.

He said: "The location of this explosion poses a significant challenge in terms of the size of the area and the terrain we are searching.

You may have heard the news this last week that 1 in 5 Americans are mentally ill. I thought the Democrat base was bigger than this but anyway. From CNBC via Sharp Elbows:

More than 45 million Americans, or 20 percent of U.S. adults, had some form of mental illness last year, and 11 million had a serious illness, U.S. government researchers reported on Thursday.

Young adults aged 18 to 25 had the highest level of mental illness at 30 percent, while those aged 50 and older had the lowest, with 13.7 percent, said the report by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration or SAMHSA.

There's one thing that all the pundits seem to have missed, and that is the fact that this was predicted. From a prior post of mine back in April: Govt report: global warming will cause mental illness, and more cancer because of pollution from green technology! The study that was released cooperatively between the NIH, NOAA, CDC, DoAG, the EPA and the DHS. For one, the report points to the increase in mental illness due to global warming. The problem? The mental illness isn't due to warmer temperatures but rather from people worrying about a global apocalypse. That's not a function of an actual calamity but rather the fear of one. That's the fault of the liberal environmental movement and its sycophantic suck-ups in the MSM, not due to anything happening environmentally. The report had a cancer segment to it as well because of all the chemical necessary to make green tech actually function.

All kidding aside though, I think the reason the mental illness number is so high is that people are confusing unhappiness with a mental disorder. It's not. You're unhappy. A pill won't change that. Note that younger people have been most affected by being unhappy. Part of the above problem is that the perception of an environmental disaster is being pushed on the public through the government in general, and government-run public schools in particular, something I have written about several times before:

And no - I'm not making this up. The story takes place in Britain, but could very well take place here. Just like here in the US, British public schools have been transformed into centers of indoctrination. Schools in Britain have already dropped all references to the holocaust because it offends Muslims, and parents can't even pull their children from gay indoctrination classes. The moonbattery has become so absurd that fictitious piles of pudding are being gender-reassigned. In the nursery rhyme, the Gingerbread Man fled from the clutches of an old woman and her husband.

But now he has been cornered by an even more unforgiving foe – political correctness.

Parents in Lancashire were astonished when they discovered the change.

The outcry has since forced officials into an embarrassing U-turn.

They now claim renaming the biscuits was a mistake and that their gender will be reinstated as soon as possible.

Last night a spokesman for Lancashire County Council confirmed the gingerbread man would be back on school menus after Christmas.

And this wasn't the first time such absurdity has occurred:

In 2006 branches of Bakers Oven in the West Midlands changed the name of gingerbread men to gingerbread persons, but reversed the decision after opposition from the public.

It follows a series of similar decisions by councils nationwide, including the renaming of school dinner favourite Spotted Dick to Spotted Richard last year by officials in North Wales.

They said they were fed up with customers’ childish sniggering.

Good grief. As I've mentioned many times before, the moonbat capital of the planet right now has to be the U.K. There is no end to the sick stories of totalitarianism digesting the British population. Just the other month, I wrote a post regarding all parents being banned from watching even their own children on public playgrounds just in case any one of them might be a pedophile. Instead, 'play rangers' now watch the children. This is a society that is taking newborn babies away from mothers because some bureaucrats think the baby might grow up obese. Even more telling is the taking of babies if some bureaucrat deems the mother is not smart enough. The government however sees fit to market condoms to 12-year olds and irreversibly mutilate children of that same age (they also prescribe Viagra for violent child predators). This is a country where environmentalism is now an official religion, citizens are to be given concentration camp-style numbers and designated with limited 'carbon credits,' nudism is protected from discrimination, parents that oppose the gay agenda are not allowed to adopt, 'safety police' have free access to your home, paramedics are allowed to let victims die if they want to, criminals are not penalized but those that fight against them are, people are randomly arrested just for their DNA, and I could go on and on. Some subjects like the environment have become so warped that politicians in Britain think it necessary to cut their population in half for environmental benefits. Royalty has gone insane from generations of inbreeding: Prince Charles: ‘Follow the Islamic way to save the world’ from... GLOBAL WARMING. Speaking of benefit, the government pays a £30,000 annual benefit to fat people to stay home, not work, and eat. Then again, the same Britain that is going to allow TV and radio ads for abortion, has launched the thermostat police on the population, is about to foist physician-assisted suicide on the downtrodden and is going in the direction of making it available to the healthy, has a population obsessed with being de-baptised, and is close to bankruptcy.

Britain is also in full dhimmi mode. Muslims have special rights over Christians. You can get arrested for watching someone else burning of the Koran! Muslim policemen don't have to protect Jews. Britain is ground zero for the explosion of moonbattery that is corroding civilization back into the stone age.

If all of the above weren't bad enough, the entire population is subject to the barbaric and merciless National Health Service, which is the 3rd largest employer in the world and in fact employs more bureaucrats than doctors.

The saddest part about the gingerbread article is that the population fights back against the labeling of a cartoon character, but has swallowed the above roundup of other far more serious breaches of actual freedom and liberty, without hardly anyone batting an eyebrow.
