White House Crack Up

There's a fascinating series over at Newsflavor from a White House mole deep inside and high up, think 'deepthroat." I was waiting for the bomb to drop but it's more like  Scheherazade ...............

Obama is a disaster. Everyone knows. Anyone aiding and abeting the enemy in the White House be damned. It's America first, stupid. This is why the left is so dangerous.

  • White House Insider: Pelosi and Obama at War
  • White House Insider: Coming Soon – Serious White House Scandal
  • White House Insider: Obama Offering Hillary Clinton Vice President Position
  • Food for Thought
  • White House Insider: "President Obama is lost. Absolutely lost."

  • I really believe the party needs to purge itself of this administration.  And I think we will.  November is a start in that direction.  New leadership will emerge.  The White House will be marginalized – perhaps so much so that there will be a Democrat challenger to Obama in 2012.

Purge the party of this administration? You really feel the Obama White House is that bad?  You remember that question – and then you can come back and ask me again later next year when this scandal finally comes to the surface.

The scandal in Chicago?  Chicago is the primary component – but it will likely start in D.C. – one thing will lead to the other.  The Justice Department, and back to Chicago.

And what if this never happens?  What if there is no scandal? What if Obama is simply re-elected in 2012 and serves a full and successful second term?  I suppose that is a possibility – but not a probable one.  They are scrambling to make that happen, but after November, the White House loses its protection.  I told you that – you understand that, right?

You are talking about CongressYes-yes…without Congress, without the Congressional leadership to quash potential hearings, the White House is far more vulnerable.  Remember Lewinski?  If the Democrats had not lost Congress in 1994, there would have been no scandal – at least not to the extent that it became.  But Democrats didn't control Congress, and so the scandal was allowed – encouraged by those -expletive- Republicans to move ahead.  Same thing with Watergate.  Democrats in Congress allowed the scandal to grow and move ahead.  That's how it works.  And now we have a Democrat President, realizing he is looking at a Republican Congress, and he is facing a real -expletive- storm.

You used Watergate as an example.  Do you really think Obama could be facing a Watergate type scandal?  I mean, something that big?  Yes I do.  I hope not.  That is what is going on right now – I'm trying to explain that part of it to you but maybe I'm not doing a good enough job of it.  There are those in the party – the Democratic Party, who are right now actively preparing for that possible outcome and taking protective measures to protect the party.  Let Obama go down for it – but save the party.  President Obama in turn – at least those around him who are capable enough still to function in that way, are trying to keep the party entangled in the mess, to motivate them to continue protecting the White House.  THAT is what is going on right now.  And the stakes are very high – the repercussions very serious.  That is why I keep telling you to fully appreciate the dangers here.  This stuff is no joke.  That is why I came to you.  If this goes bad, and it could just like that, I can pull the plug.  And make no mistake – I will.

I get that – but I'm still having a hard time believing a scandal so big is not being reported by the media.  You're wrong there.  It is being reported – bits and pieces of it.  The story will already be out there and growing before the mainstream finally runs with it.  Don't forget, most of them still want to protect the White House.  That is simply fact.  I know this – I worked directly with them during the campaign.  But it's starting to change – and eventually it will break.  The barbarians haven't broken down the gate yet – but after these midterms, they will.  Look at the Democrats who are now openly challenging the president.  Every day another one rebukes the president.  That is an incredibly dangerous thing to do politically – it can destroy a career.  Ask yourself why they would be so willing to do that.  Are they just stupid, too bold – or is it something else?

I don't know… (shakes head) The word is out there – President Obama is in real trouble.  They may not have the specifics, but the story of a big scandal coming is circulating now within the party – both parties.  So why put your own political career on the line supporting a president who is facing such a fiasco?  Simple – they won't.  And so you are seeing the separation happening.  The party itself is starting to separate itself from the president.  You ever watch those nature programs where the herd doesn't hang out with the sick one?  You got that poor sick antelope or whatever standing all by itself and when it tries to join back with the herd they run away from it?  They'll even attack it themselves if they have to.  That's what happens in politics.  If you are in real trouble, the others separate from you.  That is what is happening to the president right now.

Here is a terrible but telling anecdote:

Ok, I'll just come out and say what is already underway, and to hell with the possible consequences to me.  I will not support Barack Obama in 2012.  That possibility has left the table for me.  Based on what I know, what I have been told, what I have seen in recent weeks…no, I cannot support the President for a second term.  My concern for the party, for the country…my conscience does not allow me that option any longer.  Obama is not fit to be president.  He simply does not possess the inclinations necessary to lead the country.  And I don't like saying that.  I helped the man get elected.  I was in the trenches day after day from city to city helping things get done in 2008…I take no pleasure in saying I was a part of that.  And I take no pleasure in saying Obama should not be re-elected in 2012.

That is a very strong statement – anything recent that causes you to now say you will not support Obama in 2012?  (Long pause – question is repeated) There is much I have been told, some I know, some more that will probably develop in the coming weeks and months.  But you want specifics, right? I understand that…I'll give you an example of why President Obama is not right for America.  He sure as hell has not been right for the party.  Not long ago, the president took a meeting.  He's late, which apparently is becoming more and more common with him.  The meeting was almost cancelled.  In strolls the president, joking with an aide.  He plops down on a sofa, leans over and claps another guy on the back asking how he's been.  Apologizes for being late, says he was "held up".  He laughs some more.  The meeting begins.  After just ten minutes, during which time the president appears to almost totally withdraw into himself,  an aide walks in and whispers something to the president, who then nods and quickly stands up, shakes a few hands and tells another aide to update him later on the rest of the meeting.  As the president is walking out he is laughing at something yet again.  He asked no questions of those at the meeting – not one.  He left after just ten minutes, coming in laughing and leaving laughing.  His behavior during that brief time he was there was described as "borderline manic".

Ok, you have already stated previously that the president doesn't show much interest in the day to day business of being president – why is this example so bad, or different?  Care to know what that particular meeting was about on that day?

Certainly.  Afghanistan.  That meeting was an update on Afghanistan, and the President of the United States, the Commander in Chief, could give a -expletive-.

Were you actually there to witness this?  No, I was long gone from the White House by then.  It was told to me though by someone who was.  They were there.  First hand.  They were also left to apologize to the ones left in the room after the president left.  Some of these were military.  They were not happy.  No…that is not accurate. They were pissed.  They didn't say much at the time, but word got back.  They were in shock at the president's behavior.  The country had just lost a number of soldiers the week prior, the public opinion on the war was falling…and the president didn't seem to care.  He arrives late, leaves early, appears to emotionally shut down during the actual discussion, and to then start laughing once again as he is leaving…how does someone reconcile with that kind of behavior?  I can't.  It turns my stomach.  I didn't want to believe what I was being told, but I had seen similar kinds of behavior from the president myself, and I can't dispute the credibility of the source.  They have no reason to lie.

So is that one example the real tipping point for you in no longer being willing to support Obama in 2012? Or do you have any others you wish to share? Oh, I have others, though I cannot share all of them at this point because they involve some still in range of potential White House retribution.  Then again, I suppose I am still in range of such retribution myself.

Bill Clinton urged black democrat Meek to "be a hero" and quit.

Bill Clinton urged black senatorial candidate Kendrick Meek to leave the race in Florida.
    The Politico reported, via Drudge:

Bill Clinton sought to persuade Rep. Kendrick Meek to drop out of the race for Senate during a trip to Florida last week — and nearly succeeded.

Meek agreed — twice — to drop out and endorse Gov. Charlie Crist's independent bid in a last-ditch effort to stop Marco Rubio, the Republican nominee who stands on the cusp of national stardom.

Meek, a staunch Clinton ally from Miami, has failed to broaden his appeal around the state and is mired in third place in most public polls, with a survey today showing him with just 15 percent of the vote. His withdrawal, polls suggest, would throw core Democratic voters to the moderate governor, rocking a complicated three-way contest and likely throwing the election to Crist.

The former president's top aide, Doug Band, initially served as the intermediary between Meek and Crist, and Clinton became involved only when Meek signaled that he would seriously consider the option, Clinton spokesman Matt McKenna confirmed to POLITICO.

"The argument was: 'You can be a hero here. You can stop him, you can change this race in one swoop,'" said another Democrat familiar with the conversations, who said Clinton had bluntly told Meek that he couldn't win the race.

Mohammed Becomes ‘Most Popular’ Boy Name in Britain

The name Mohammed has officially become the most popular name for newborn boys in Britain. According to the UK's Mail Online, Mohammed replaces Jack, which had topped the list for the last 14 years.

A total of 7,549 newborns were given 12 variations of the Islamic prophet Mohammed's name last year, such as Muhammad and Mohammad.

The name Mohammed first debuted on the top 100 in 1944 when it ranked 87th.  By 1964 it had risen to 73rd.  But since 1999, the Mail Online reports the name's frequency has increased by more than 50%.

The upsurge in the name's frequency likely mirrors a growing population of Muslims residing in the UK.  Just last week, the Telegraph ran an expose on one London borough populated nearly entirely by Muslims, dubbed "Britain's Islamic Republic."

Report: Bill Clinton Pushing Democrat to Drop Out of Fla. Senate Race

According to a new report from Politico, former President Bill Clinton traveled to Florida last week to campaign for Rep. Kendrick Meek, while simultaneously urging the Democrat to drop out of the three-way race against Gov. Charlie Crist and Republican Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate.

Politico reports that Meek agreed on two separate occasions to concede the election and endorse Crist's independent bid in a "last-ditch" effort to stop conservative favorite Rubio.

According to Politico, Clinton had convinced Meek to exit the race and the Crist, Meek and Clinton camps even set a date for an endorsement rally.
One aide told Politico that it was "a done deal."

Meek was to give Crist his blessing and explain to his disappointed supporters — many of whom deeply distrust the governor, who was elected as a Republican — that their votes could save the Senate for the Democrats and save America from the rise of Rubio, who is viewed both as a hard-line conservative and a potential national figure.

The White House, Democrats said, had knowledge of the plans and viewed them as a path to capturing the Senate seat, but did not initiate the talks.
The White House has not commented on the Clinton camp's claims, though President Obama has personally campaigned for Meek in the past.
Meanwhile, Meek's campaign manager, Abe Dyk, denies the report.  "Kendrick Meek was not ever dropping out of this race and will not ever drop out of this race," Dyk told Politico. "He's going to stand up for the middle class as opposed to his two lifelong Republican opponents who always stand with the special interests."
The latest poll of likely Florida voters has Republican Marco Rubio enjoying a full 10 point lead over Crist with Meek in third place.

Five Point Action Plan for Neutralizing Vote Fraud

    [from the diaries by haystack]

We all recognize that an honest voting process is the foundation of representative government, and thus that electoral fraud denies our rights as citizens and is a rapid path to tyranny.

This year we see evidence accumulating of organized and concerted efforts on the part of the Democratic Party and their principal allies, labor unions (especially SEIU), to undermine the votes in multiple races at a scale unprecedented in modern election history that could significantly affect the outcome of these races and even substantially alter the composition of our next Congress and also influence state races that will decide the next decadal reapportionment.

This is a new game; old understandings are obsolete. Your race could be one of the targets of this national effort at fraud.

But resources are limited; a campaign probably cannot cover all basie.

Keeping that in mind, here is a five-point program to maintain electoral honesty and defeat fraud, such that the outcomes on November 2nd truly represent the choices of the voters.

    1) Offense is better than defense

Do what you can in terms of GOTV to get the voters on your side to the polls, phone banking, driving folks to the polls on election day, updating precinct voting lists and contacting voters, etc.

If you get your supporters' votes cast, then you are in a much stronger position to overcome the fraud, rather than having to rely on the courts after the fact, which is a frail reed to lean on.

    2) Prioritize your defense strategy.

Start first with the areas for larger-scale fraud and work down, depending on your resources (keeping Item 1 firmly in mind).

    a) One key area, if possible, is have someone watching the county Registrar of Voters (ROV) ofices from now until the final formation of the voting lists, to make sure that voter registrations are being subjected to strict scrutiny, especially if the ROVs are trying to catch up this weekend. Even more if there is any evidence of possible dumping of a horde of probably fraudulent registrations to overwhelm the ROVs, (Of course this will depend on what state law allows in terms of campaign watchers.)

    b) A number of races have seen Democratic front groups gaining custody of absentee ballot requests under false pretenses (or at least questionable) and then presenting a spike of Democratic registrations.

These registrations are probably mostly valid in many cases; the problem is that there is a significant probability at that the Democratic recipients simply threw away the requests from Republican and Independent voters, thereby preventing these folks from receiving these ballots. Some reports have already come out about this, so be alert if this may be happening in your race.

    Possible countermeasures could include:

      (i) Do some advertising - or even sympathetic newspaper articles - alerting folks about this issue
(ii) Set up a hot-line for folks to call who haven't received their absentee ballots yet, especially if they responded to the suspect group's appeal
(iii) Remind voters that they can still vote at polls on Tuesday with a provisional ballot if they don't get their absentee ballot (State laws may vary on this).
(iv) Consider driving people to ROV on Friday, (weekend - if open), or Monday who can't vote on Tuesday.
      (v) Collect affidavits to document the incidents

    c) Determine areas/precincts that seem most susceptible to larger scale SEIU (or other unions) disruption or to ballot stuffing with fraudulent voters as priorities for assigning observers.

    d) Also be prepared to oversee counting of absentee ballots for irregularities (see item 5).

    3) Always do anti-fraud efforts involving video with at least two folks

The idea is that one person films the interactions, and the second person films the firs1t person to document what happens if there is an altercation. This also may have a deterrent effect on would-be troublemakers - strength in numbers.
      .
If you take away nothing else, this step is crucial, based on multiple experiences across the county.

Even without video recordings, you may still want to have more than one witness around for similar reasons if you anticipate trouble so that you can provide supporting testimony from an observer rather than relying entirely on the victim, who may not know what happened very well. Again this may also provide a possible deterrent effect from having multiple people there.

Don't ignore the power of iPhones or other inconspicuous cameras for still shots.

    4) Set up rapid deployment teams

These teams should be prepared to respond to problem reports, as backup for your observers. It's good to have at least one person on the team well-versed in election law.

Also, consider utilizing some of the voter fraud apps that have been brought on line this year. For instance, American Majority has developed this one:

    Introducing the Voter Fraud App
    App Download site

    5) Prepare legal teams in advance in case the voting is so close that the match goes into overtime. Learn from Minnesota 2008 and Washington (multiple) that you need to fight immediately and with all weapons possible to prevent after-the-fact theft with the Democrats utilizing absentee ballots, "newly discovered" ballots, overvotes in convenient districts, perhaps even multiple signatures by the same person.

What level of inquiry to pursue will of course depend on funds and number of boots and the points of greatest danger. Which is why after-the-vote is the last line of defense, to use only if the above advance actions fail.

She’s the Boss – The Disturbing Truth About Nancy Pelosi

Unreal. Sheila Jackson Lee Wants Eric Holder to Save Voters From Tea Partiers at Polling Stations

Of course, just one week ago Sheila Jackson Lee reportedly harassed poll watchers at a polling station.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) wants Eric Holder to save voters from hostile tea partiers at polling stations.

King Samir Shabazz (L) and Jerry Jackson (R), both of Philadelphia pose for their photo above. Jerry Jackson is a certified democratic poll watcher. Eric Holder dropped charges against club-wielding Black Panther members at a polling station in 2008.

    Politico reported:

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) is asking the Department of Justice to investigate whether tea party groups are intimidating black and Hispanic voters in her district.

Jackson Lee has asked Attorney General Eric Holder to send poll monitors to her district on Nov. 2 to make sure the King Street Patriots, a local conservative voter turnout and tea party group, aren't stopping people from voting.

"Many of these incidents of voter intimidation have been occurring in predominately minority neighborhoods and have been directed at African-Americans and Latinos," she said in the letter. "It is unconscionable to think that anyone would deliberately employ the use of such forceful and intimidating tactics in 2010 to undermine the fundamental, constitutional right to vote."

"I urge you to order an immediate investigation into these incidents and call for the Department of Justice to send poll monitors to Harris County immediately to ensure a safe and neutral voting environment during the Nov. 2 election," Jackson Lee wrote.

The King Street Patriots and its True the Vote initiative, comprised of a group of citizen-volunteers dedicated to election integrity, also sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice asking for their assistance by sending federal election monitors and staff from the Community Relations Service to help monitor the polls.

For Standing With Beck, Media Matters Claims Palin Supports Terrorism

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin rebuffed Media Matters' requests to repudiate "erratic" TV and radio host Glenn Beck with a call into his radio program Thursday morning, saying, "I stand with you, Glenn."

[F]rom my kitchen table in Wasilla here's the deal. You are up against one of the richest…and most powerful men in the world…the extreme left wing king, with many, many minions! So when I speak of your love of our Founding Fathers, and how you're helping to educate Americans about respecting our nation's history so we don't lose what makes America exceptional. And the far left wing mouth pieces their twisting and spinning and perverting that message. I go back to what Abraham Lincoln said about standing anybody with who stand with anybody that stands right…I stand with you, Glenn.

Palin went on to deride Media Matters' "pathetic" and "desperate" attempts to silence Beck.

By Thursday afternoon, Media Matters was condemning Palin's remarks, go so far as to claim she supports violence and acts of domestic terrorism.  Media Matters' founder and CEO David Brock released the following statement:

On Tuesday, I asked Sarah Palin to use her influential voice to stop attempted incidents of domestic terrorism incited by right-wing extremists like Glenn Beck. By telling Beck, 'I stand with you,' Palin — Fox News' star contributor — now associates herself with acts of violence and the insane conspiracy theories and hate speech behind them.

Rather than seize the opportunity to act in the national interest and do her part to prevent a major tragedy like the Oklahoma City bombing, Palin called into Beck's show to call me 'pathetic.' While Palin and I don't agree on much, I honestly believed we shared the view that the incitement to violence by a powerful media outlet was a national crisis that transcends the partisan divide. Sadly, I was wrong.

The progressive People for the American Way is also working with Media Matters in a boycott of Beck's programming and the Fox News Channel.  The group's president, Michael Keegan, joined Media Matters in denouncing Palin, comparing her friendship with Beck to President Obama's past ties to leftist radical Bill Ayers:

For someone who was so quick to smear Obama for 'palling around with terrorists,' Sarah Palin doesn't seem to take threats of violence too seriously when they're generated by her own pals and allies. Even the last few days have seen disturbing thuggery in states around the country.  This shouldn't be a partisan issue.  Democrats, Republicans, independents and even tea party members should be able to agree that inciting listeners to violence isn't acceptable.  It's profoundly disappointing that someone laying the groundwork to run for president doesn't agree with that.

If the living are taking a beating, may as well push the dead guy:
But one member for whom they are now spending, Democratic Sen. Jenny Oropeza, died unexpectedly last week at age 53.
State law prohibits replacing a candidate on the ballot or calling a special election to fill a vacant office this close to a scheduled election. So the name of the late Long Beach senator remains on the ballot against Republican John Stammreich and Libertarian David Ruskin.
If Oropeza wins in the safe Democratic district, a special election for the seat will be called in early December when members are sworn in. The state Democratic Party has spent $46,135 to explain that possible outcome to voters in the 28th Senate District.
It mus really suck to be a dem this cycle.  Pushing the candidacy of a dead guy to preserve special-election rights.  Whew.  Give it up, clowns.

Just Like Old Times… Obama to Attend Mosque in Indonesia

    Like old times.

    What a shock…
Obama will be visiting a mosque during his trip to Indonesia.
    The Politico reported:

President Barack Obama will visit one of the world's largest mosques when he makes good on a long-delayed promise to visit Indonesia, the island nation where he lived briefly as a child.

The president will visit Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta — the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the third largest Muslim house of worship in the world — during his swing through the country Nov. 9-10. Islam is the dominant religion in populous Indonesia, making it the world's largest Muslim-majority nation.

White House national security aide Ben Rhodes said the visit is standard protocol for Obama, who visited the famed Blue Mosque while on a visit to Turkey shortly after his inauguration. "When he visited Muslim-majority countries as president, he has often visited the most prominent mosques," Rhodes said.

The president's high-profile visit, however, could stoke the heated confrontation over the Park51 Project, an Islamic cultural center and mosque planned for a site just north of where the World Trade Center towers fell in Manhattan on Sept. 11. In August, Obama roiled the simmering debate when he declared that Muslims have a legal right to build the cultural center — a statement which angered opponents who saw the center as an affront to victims and rescue workers who died on Sept. 11 — but he later said he didn't think building the cultural center was a good idea.

Rhodes cautioned against linking Obama's statement about the Park51 Project and his visit to the Jakarta mosque.

At this point, not even establishment moonbats can take the erstwhile Anointed One seriously as he flounders pathetically amid the ruin he has made of the Democrat Party. WaPo's Dana Milbank shakes his head in grief over the dishonor Obama has brought to the presidency by subjecting himself to Jon Stewart's ridicule:

On Comedy Central, the joke was on President Obama Wednesday night.
The president had come, on the eve of what will almost certainly be the loss of his governing majority, to plead his case before Jon Stewart, gatekeeper of the disillusioned left. But instead of displaying the sizzle that won him an army of youthful supporters two years ago, Obama had a Brownie moment.
The Daily Show host was giving Obama a tough time about hiring the conventional and Clintonian Larry Summers as his top economic advisor.
"In fairness," the president replied defensively, "Larry Summers did a heckuva job."
"You don't want to use that phrase, dude," Stewart recommended with a laugh.
Dude. The indignity of a comedy show host calling the commander in chief "dude" pretty well captured the moment for Obama.

Try to imagine Ronaldus Magnus crawling into a playpen to unsuccessfully beg a professional clown for approval.

A low point in American history came after Stewart asked,

"You wouldn't say you'd run this time as a pragmatist? It wouldn't be, 'Yes we can, given certain conditions?'"
"I think what I would say is yes we can, but — "
Stewart, and the audience, laughed at the "but."
    Obama didn't laugh.

Stewart's liberal audience wasn't laughing with him, but at him — and at anyone who still takes this tragic farce of a presidency seriously.

Not exactly up there with Washington crossing the Delaware.

‘Change’ Of Plans; Obama to visit mosque in Indonesia as ‘protocol’

RWB News: We knew the earlier reports coming from the White House about the ‘President missing out on a planned visit to a mosque in India over fears that photographs of him wearing muslim head gar would revive claims that he is a Muslim’ had to be joke. This guy never misses an opportunity to “reach out” to Muslims…..so much so it is now called “protocol”.
Funny what we call ‘protocol’ now days. Was it ‘protocol’ when President Obama made history as the first sitting president on a daytime talk show when he visited with the ladies of “The View”? His appearance on “The view” caused him to miss out on another historic occasion — the Boy Scouts’ Jamboree marking the group’s 100th anniversary, right in the president’s backyard…….Amazing what is now “protocol”. The President moved this trip up a few days earlier so he could leave right after the election on Nov 2nd, leaving his party to answer the question “What the hell just happened?”

montrealgazette.com-Barack Obama has reportedly abandoned plans to visit Amritsar’s Golden Temple during his visit to India next month over fears that photographs of him with his head covered would revive false claims that he is a Muslim.
Members of Mr Obama’s White House team reportedly visited India last month and told Indian officials of their concerns.
Mr Obama, whose father was a non-observant Muslim, has been dogged by rumours regarding his faith since his battle for the Democratic presidential nomination against Hillary Clinton in 2008. At times since becoming president he has highlighted the fact that his middle name is Hussein to boost his credibility abroad.
In August, a poll conducted by Time magazine found that almost one in four Americans thought he was a follower of Islam. The results came days after he waded into the dispute over controversial plans to build an Islamic centre near the site of the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York.
Temple sources said on Tuesday that three teams of officials from the U.S. embassy in New Delhi had visited them in the past six weeks but that they were unaware there was any concern over wearing a headscarf. According to the Indian Express, one American official had told his Indian counterparts that Mr Obama had to remind America “each day that he should not be mistaken for Muslim just because his middle name is Hussein”.
A compromise was reportedly explored in which the president might wear a “modified baseball cap” but it is unclear whether this would have been acceptable to Sikh traditionalists.

politico.com- The president will visit Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta — the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the third largest Muslim house of worship in the world — during his swing through the country Nov. 9-10. Islam is the dominant religion in populous Indonesia, making it the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation.
White House national security aide Ben Rhodes said the visit is standard protocol for Obama, who visited the famed Blue Mosque while on a visit to Turkey shortly after his inauguration. “When he visited Muslim-majority countries as president, he has often visited the most prominent mosques,” Rhodes said.
The president’s high-profile visit, however, could stoke the heated confrontation over the Park51 Project, an Islamic cultural center and mosque planned for a site just north of where the World Trade Center towers fell in Manhattan on Sept. 11. In August, Obama roiled the simmering debate when he declared that Muslims have a legal right to build the cultural center — a statement which angered opponents who saw the center as an affront to victims and rescue workers who died on Sept. 11 — but he later said he didn’t think building the cultural center was a good idea.

O‘Keefe Releases More ’Teacher‘s Unions Gone Wild’ Footage Defending Context

A "warning" on James O'Keefe's website regarding new teacher's union footage.

This week, conservative film maker James O'Keefe released a new hidden camera expose on the New Jersey Education Association (the teacher's union) called "Teacher's Unions Gone Wild." After it was released, the NJEA questioned its validity and context, and even accused O'Keefe of fabrication. Thursday, O'Keefe responded to that criticism by releasing new graphic video from his organization's undercover investigation — footage he says proves the documentary is true.

O'Keefe released the video on his website along with a statement targeting the union:

The New Jersey Teacher's Union (NJEA) has questioned the authenticity of the reports released under our "Teacher's Unions Gone Wild" Investigation.

Specifically, the NJEA claims that our conversation with one of their members, Alissa Ploshnick, was taken out of context.

NJEA Spokesman Steve Wollmer has stated in numerous interviews that when referring to activity in the hallway, Ms. Ploshnick, was referring to "students in the hallway of Clifton High School 20 years ago . . . and that's what it would take to get a teacher to report them."

To clear this up, Project Veritas [O'Keefe's company] has offered the raw audio of the conversation to many members of the media, and now to the public.

He encourages readers to "judge for yourself":

[WARNING: Contains graphic and lewd language]

It remains to be seen if the new footage will convince the NJEA. It seems unlikely given the union's initial response:

In August, "citizen journalists" from O'Keefe's Project Veritas apparently attended sessions and social events at the NJEA Summer Leadership Conference in East Brunswick.  They surreptitiously recorded audio and video of members and presenters, and produced a series of videos titled "Teacher's Unions Gone Wild," a sophomoric takeoff on the TV show "Girls Gone Wild."  Several individuals identified as NJEA members were caught unaware on camera, and the resulting product featured proven doctored video and audio.

A spokesman for the union echoed that message to the Daily Record on Tuesday:

"It's impossible to know where he got this, where he twisted it from," Baker said. "There's a lot of audio, no video, and you don't know where the audio is from. The whole thing is a complete fabrication, built on lies."

Others too have questioned the documentary's validity. In fact, O'Keefe got into a contentious exchange with a Philadelphia news anchor earlier this week regarding fabrication charges.

Not everyone has been critical, though. Outspoken NJEA critic and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christi has praised the film.

Sneak Peek: ‘Decision Points’ Memoir Offers ‘Strikingly Personal’ Look at G....

Matt Drudge has done it again, beating all other media outlets to the punch.  This time, he's managed to secure an exclusive look at "Decision Points," the highly-anticipated autobiographical memoir of America's 43rd President, George W. Bush.

With the book set to hit store shelves on November 9, Drudge gives us a brief synopsis of what to expect from what he calls a "strikingly personal work that takes very few shots at his critics," even noting, "The former president even stays clear of Obama!"

From 911′s "Day of Fire" to "Katrina" to "Financial Crisis", Bush explains how he returned to his faith, time and time again. [...]

The president reveals he gave the order to shoot down planes on September 11 — and at first thought the plane in PA had been shot down.

    **

In the chapter "Stem Cells", Bush describes receiving a letter from Nancy Reagan detailing a "wrenching family journey".

But ultimately, Bush writes: "I did feel a responsibility to voice my pro-life convictions and lead the country toward what Pope John Paul II called a culture of life."

In the book, Bush describes an emotional July 2001 meeting with the Pope at the pontiff's summer residence.

Savaged by Parkinson's, the Pope saw the promise of science, but implored Bush to support life in all its forms.

Later, at the Pope's funeral — and after a prodding from his wife that it's a time to "pray for miracles" — Bush found himself saying a prayer for the cancer-stricken ABCNEWS anchor Peter Jennings.

Bush has had his critics, including this recent jab from Jimmy Kimmel:

But, "[w]ith 14 chapters and an epilogue, it's Bush's turn," Drudge writes.

Drudge also quotes a "top Bush source" who says readers "will find the president strong, loving life, and ultimately at peace with the decisions he's made."

ObamaCare Will Cost 800,000 Jobs per Congressional Report

At least no one can say that the Democrat agenda is incoherent. Every major policy pursued by our current government shares a central objective: to drive up unemployment, thereby increasing the public's reliance on socialist bureaucrats who will "spread the wealth around." Until they get Cap & Tax through, ObamaCare is the crown jewel in this regard. According to a congressional report:

The CBO estimates that the legislation, on net, will reduce the amount of labor used in the economy by a small amount — roughly half a percent — primarily by reducing the amount of labor that workers choose to supply, which is more than 788,470 employees.

That's almost 800,000 more families herded into the Democrat camp — according to theory, anyway. The strategy worked like a charm for FDR, keeping him in power for ages. Unfortunately for Dems, the public has more access to information than it did in the 30s and 40s. This time, we know what's being done to us.
