Dems release Republican challenger Col. Allen West’s social security number in attack flier; use lam

RWB News: Another dirty tactic performed by the "New" Democratic Party. Do they really expect people to believe this was an "Oversight"? Give me a break!!

As reported by Palmbeachpost.com

The Florida Democratic Party today said it made an "oversight" when it included Republican congressional challenger Allen West's Social Security number in an attack mailer.

West, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Ron Klein, D-Boca Raton, in a nationally watched race, called the mailer "an unprecedented new low in American politics."

The Democratic mailer, echoing TV ads Klein's campaign has run, blasts West for an $11,081 tax lien from 2005 that was paid off four months later.

The lien notice was pulled from public records in Indiana and is reproduced in the mailer with West's wife's name removed and his address blacked out. But his Social Security number is visible in a column that says "Identifying Number."

The nine-digit number is not specifically labeled a Social Security number in the document. But West campaign manager Josh Grodin says there's no mistaking what it is.

Although the mailing came from the Florida Democratic Party, West and Grodin blamed Klein for it.

"I understand politics is a tough business. I expect to be challenged about my ideas, my beliefs," West said in a fund-raising e-mail to supporters. "But Ron Klein has clearly crossed a line. I'm not yet sure the potential damage that might come to my wife and me, and it makes me sick to think of what could happen to my daughters. My entire family is at risk of identity theft."

Said Klein spokeswoman Melissa Silverman: "This was a Florida Democratic Party mailer, and they have made clear that they will take appropriate action to rectify the situation."

Silverman didn't answer an e-mailed question about whether Klein's campaign consulted on or knew in advance about the mailer.

Florida Democratic Party spokesman Eric Jotkoff called the inclusion of West's Social Security number an "oversight" in a statement that included a barbed apology to West.

"After making every effort to remove all of Allen West's private information, unlike West who refuses to apologize to Florida's taxpayers for not paying his taxes and his bills, we apologize for the oversight of not redacting this information from the public record included in the mailer," Jotkoff said. "To end, while this mail piece does not explicitly identify any Social Security number, in order to stop the crazy West accusations, we will pay for identify theft monitoring for the next two years."

Grodin said late today that West has been talking to lawyers about the possibility of legal action over the mailer.

New Jesse Jackson Jr. Allegations of Ethics Violation, Sexual Affair

-By Warner Todd Huston

On the eave of the biggest rush to run for Chicago Mayor in recent memory, Jesse Jackson, Jr. has been hit with more allegations of being involved in a scheme to buy a Senate seat from disgraced Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Additionally, there is a hint that Jackson was involved with a woman flown several times to Chicago by a campaign contributor.

An Indian-American businessman has told federal authorities that he was asked by Congressman Jackson to begin raising money for Rod Blagojevich so that Blago might appoint Jackson to the open Senate seat that Obama vacated when he took the White House in 2008.

Shortly after Blagojevich's arrest on corruption charges in December 2008, the Chicago Tribune reported that FBI agents went to the Oak Brook home of Indian-American businessman, Raghuveer P. Nayak. The Tribune reported Nayak hosted an Oct. 31, 2008 luncheon where he discussed raising $1 million for Blagojevich to help persuade the governor to choose Jackson. The congressman's brother Jonathan appeared at a Nayak-sponsored fundraiser for the governor three days before Blagojevich was arrested.

There is also an affair broadly hinted at between the Congressman and a woman named Giovanna Huidobro, an affair that Jackson has asked the media to ignore so as to "respect" his "private" problem between he and his wife.

The woman is said to be a "restaurant hostess" but the picture that is being used by the media looks suspiciously like a swimsuit model seen on the CincoUno.com website.

When confronted with the possible relationship, Jackson clammed up and tried to cajole the media to ignore the whole thing.

"The reference to a social acquaintance is a private and personal matter between me and my wife that was handled some time ago," Jackson said in his statement. "I ask that you respect our privacy.

"I know I have disappointed some supporters, and for that I am deeply sorry. But I remain committed to serving my constituents and fighting on their behalf."

Like father like son, I guess. Jackson Sr. is well known for his sexual dalliances.

Some may harken back to their old Clinton arguments and say that this is all "just about sex." Au contraire. This woman was flown to Chicago at least two times by a supporter for costs exceeding the House of Representative's gifting rules. Jackson did not mention these flights on his House disclosure filings. This is an ethics violation in more ways than just the violation of his wedding vows.

Jesse Jackson's Republican opponent, meanwhile, has issued a statement about these new allegations. It reads, in part:

Today, we have been informed by the press that Mr. Jackson directed Mr. Nayak to offer Rod Blagojevich six million dollars in campaign cash in return for an appointment to the U.S. Senate seat.

It is time for Congressman Jackson to tell the members of the Second District the truth. They deserve to know what he did and why he did it. They have suffered long enough under the three-peat of political corruption that has existed for the past thirty years.

We need a clean break from the politics of the abuse of power and public trust. We need someone with the character and values to represent our district with honesty and integrity.

I would suggest that all this makes Jackson's possibility of running for Mayor of Chicago a lot less likely.

Predictable: Major health insurers to stop offering new child-only policies due to terminal case of

Gee - who could have predicted such a thing? From The Washington Post via memeorandum:
Some of the country's most prominent health insurance companies have decided to stop offering new child-only plans, rather than comply with rules in the new health-care law that will require such plans to start accepting children with preexisting medical conditions after Sept. 23.
Obama's sycophantic suck-ups aren't happy about it either:
"We're just days away from a new era when insurance companies must stop denying coverage to kids just because they are sick, and now some of the biggest changed their minds," Ethan Rome, executive director of Health Care for America Now, an advocacy group, said in a statement. "[It] is immoral, and to blame their appalling behavior on the new law is patently dishonest."
What's his explanation as to why they are dropping the coverage option then? The first step in for an alcoholic to get better is to admit that they have a problem. Obamanauts aren't at step one yet. The Obama regime, of course, is getting out the brass knuckles:
...officials of the Obama administration said the move contradicted a letter from the leader of one of the insurance industry's most important trade groups after the law's adoption in March. Karen Ignagni, president of America's Health Insurance Plans, expressed support for the law's provisions concerning children with preexisting conditions and promised to "fully comply" with them.

"We expect [insurance companies] to honor that commitment. Insurers shouldn't break their promise and turn their backs on some of our most vulnerable Americans," said Jessica Santillo, a spokeswoman for the Department of Health and Human Services.
It's always amusing to hear of liberals trotting out the "most vulnerable" Americans tripe just as they support abortion on demand that is murdering by dismemberment while conscious millions of Americans. More good news as a result of ObamaCare:
...the result over the next several years could be that the pool of children insured by child-only plans would rapidly skew toward those with expensive medical bills, either bankrupting the plans or forcing insurers to make up their losses by substantially increasing premiums for all customers. ...

Canadians Walk Out on Ahmadinejad at UN – US Officials Stay Put

The Canadians walked out on Iranian regime president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today at the United Nations.
CTV reported:

Canadian diplomats at the United Nations have boycotted a speech by the president of Iran, a spokeswoman for Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon said Tuesday.

Western diplomats, including those from Canada, have in recent years made a show of walking out on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad whenever he addresses the UN General Assembly.

Catherine Loubier, spokeswoman for Cannon, says the boycott was intended as a protest against Iran's human rights record and controversial nuclear program.

Ahmadinejad told the assembly that capitalism is facing defeat and is calling for an overhaul of the "undemocratic and unjust" global decision-making bodies.

Nuts. The Wackadoodle Professor Strikes Again: Obama Says “Mexicans” Were Here Long Before the Unite

The Far Left Wackadoodle Professor Strikes Again–

Ken Pittman passed this on.
Barack Obama told the Hispanic Caucus in his speech that "Mexicans" were here in America long before the United States was an idea.

Wrong. Here's the quote:

Let me close by saying this. Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. The British and French, the Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land.

Sorry Barack. Mexico first became a state independent of Spain in 1821.

Does anyone proof read this garbage before he goes public with it?
Honestly.

What's Worse, a High School Student Dabbling In Witchcraft or A First Lady Talking to Dead People?

The press is making a big deal out of incidents that occurred when Delaware GOP Senatorial Candidate was in high school. The latest of which was a 1999 statement made on "Politically Incorrect," where she said she  "dabbled into witchcraft" but "never joined a coven." After the tape was released, O'Donnell cleared up the quote asking whether it was fair to hold candidates responsible for the "questionable folks"
"I hung around people who were doing these things. I'm not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do," O'Donnell told Maher in 1999
"One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn't know it. I mean, there's little blood there and stuff like that," she said. "We went to a movie and then had a little midnight picnic on a satanic altar."
I know how O'Donnell feels, one of my first dates was a woman who voted for Teddy Kennedy. It was a long-distance relationship, only my feet were planted on the planet earth.

The media obsession with O'Donnell's unfortunate choice of high school dates, is just a politically driven effort to discredit the tea party in general and Ms O'Donnell specifically.  If they were truly concerned about politicians involved in paranormal activities, they would have had their "X-Files" bureau going after former NY Senator and present Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

When Ms Clinton was the First Lady of the United States, she used to have conversations with Eleanor Roosevelt. Not that those conversations were necessarily a bad thing, except for fact that Mrs. Roosevelt died in 1962, thirty years before Ms Clinton became first lady. Bob Woodward in his 1996 book, The Choice, brought the "conversations"  to the attention of the general public.

In his book (page 132) Bob Woodward wrote that one day, after finishing up a discussion with Eleanor, "Houston asked Hillary to carry on a conversation with Mahatma Gandhi, the Hindu leader, a powerful symbol of stoic denial. Talk to him, Houston said. What would you say and what would you ask?" And Hillary did. "It was a strong personal outpouring," Woodward reported. The WAPO reporter didn't say what Gandhi's response was.

Another book released in 2007 backed up Woodward's Claim.
A new biography on Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton reveals that during her time as First Lady, Clinton participated in strange moments of imaginary conversation with a deceased Eleanor Roosevelt from the solarium atop the White House. Grove City College professor Paul Kengor's "God and Hillary Clinton" also notes the religious devotion with which Senator Clinton advocates abortion.

An overview of the book by Kengor's Grove City colleague Dr. Warren Thockmorton notes that the book - with information from friends, colleagues and acquaintances - paints an accurate picture of Clinton's version of faith.

The woman who arranged the séance-type sessions atop the White House, Jean Houston, became very close to the Senator. Houston who was known for delving into altered consciousness, the spirit world, and psychic experiences, according to a source quoted in the book, compared Clinton to Joan of Arc and believed her to be the most pivotal woman in all of human history
The press was well aware of Ms Clinton's habit of speaking to historical figures, especially after it became Barack Obama's first "screw-up" after he was elected.  The  President-Elect had to call Nancy Reagan to apologize  after he mixed up mixed up Hillary's séances with Nancy's astrology.
President-elect Barack Obama called Nancy Reagan today to apologize for the careless and off-handed remark he made during today's press conference," said Obama spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter "The President-elect expressed his admiration and affection for Mrs. Reagan that so many Americans share and they had a warm conversation,"
Earlier on Friday at his first news conference since sweeping to victory in Tuesday's election, Obama was asked if he had consulted past presidents for guidance.

"I've spoken to all of them that are living," he said. When some members of the media started to laugh, he added: "I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any séances.".....Sen. Hillary Clinton, when her husband was president, was reported to have had imaginary conversations with Eleanor Roosevelt at the suggestion of spiritual adviser Jean Houston.
Maybe after the press is done trying to destroy Christine O' Donnell for something she did in high school, they can compare that to a Secretary of State who used to run around the White House speaking to dead people. You know, come to think of it, that wouldn't be so bad if Clinton would just once, channel one of the founding fathers who could explain to her just exactly what is in that US Constitution the progressives so often ignore.

Video: Breitbart Forces Obama’s Protesters to Quit by Asking Them To Explain the Placards They Were

Via Big Government (via Instapundit):
In the following dramatic video, Breitbart brings the protest to a complete halt by cleverly asking sign holders to do the impossible:  explain the placards they were carrying. In the end, the frustrated organizers abruptly end their protest and leave.
This is awesome for Breitbart, pathetic for Obama's protesters:
Are these people mindless drones? Just doing what they are told without any thought of their own? These drones show up everywhere. I interviewed a couple of them in April (News: Macomb Daily Staff Writers Don't Know How To Ask Questions). "They don't even know what the heck they were doing there except to hold signs their union bosses told them to hold:"

Band of Thugs… Obama Administration Exposes Conservative Group’s Tax Information

Band of Thugs–
You can tell this guy was an instructor in Alinsky tactics.

Barack Obama taught the socialist principles of radical Saul Alinsky before becoming president.

The Obama Administration is now exposing the private tax information of top conservatives. It's like America is suddenly run by a bunch of Marxist pigs.
The Weekly Standard reported:

A lawyer for Koch Industries now tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that the administration may have crossed a line by revealing tax information about Koch Industries. According to Mark Holden, senior vice president and general counsel of Koch Industries, a senior Obama administration official told reporters at an August 27 on-the-record background briefing on corporate taxes:

So in this country we have partnerships, we have S corps, we have LLCs, we have a series of entities that do not pay corporate income tax. Some of which are really giant firms, you know Koch Industries is a multibillion dollar businesses. So that creates a narrower base because we've literally got something like 50 percent of the business income in the U.S. is going to businesses that don't pay any corporate income tax. They point out [in the report] you could review the boundary between corporate and non-corporate taxation as a way to broaden the base.

Holden tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that this quotation from a senior administration official "came to our attention from different avenues. We are very concerned about why this would be said about us, particularly in this setting. We are concerned where this information would have been obtained from. We also are concerned in light of recent events that we have been singled out by the government and others as a campaign against us because of our political views."

You confront the Obama regime- you pay.

Glenn Reynolds adds: Hey, next Obama will be joking about tax audits for people who disrespect him.

DOJ Official Gave False Testimony About Dropping New Black Panther Case

 J. Christian Adams is the DOJ official who resigned as an  Attorney in the Voter Rights Division of the Department of Justice to protest the racism, perjury, and obstruction of justice surrounding the DOJ's dropping of the election day 2008 voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther party. When Mr. Adams testified, he accused he assistant attorney general for civil rights, Tom Perez, when he testified about the dropping of the case. Today Judicial Watch released documents obtained in a FOIA request that adds to the list of lies that Perez may have made. The data
....details a series of emails between Assistant Deputy Attorney General Steve Rosenbaum and Deputy Associate Attorney General Sam Hirsch, who was described by Slate magazine as a "DC election lawyer who represents a lot of Democrats" prior to joining the Justice Department.
In other words a very political appointee. The summary provided by the DOH
.... describes eight email exchanges between Rosenbaum and Hirsch, taking place on April 30, 2009, the day before the Justice Department reversed course and declined to pursue much of the Black Panther case. Listed among the email correspondence:
An "Email Chain with Attachments" from Rosenbaum to Hirsch dated April 30, 2009: The email chain includes "…a detailed response and analysis of the proposed draft filings in NBPP (New Black Panther Party) litigation…The response includes a candid assessment of legal research and raises questions about the case law and proposed relief….This document also contains attorney discussion, opinions, and analyses of the draft documents and case law."
These records contradict testimony by Assistant Attorney General Perez, before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights on May 14, 2010. During the hearing, Perez was asked directly regarding the involvement of political leaders in the decision to dismiss the Black Panther case.
COMMISSIONER KIRSANOW: Was there any political leadership involved in the decision not to pursue this particular case any further than it was?
ASST. ATTY. GEN. PEREZ: No. The decisions were made by Loretta King in consultation with Steve Rosenbaum, who is the Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General.
Perez also suggested that the dispute was merely "a case of career people disagreeing with career people."
Rosenbaum is no "career people"

"These documents show the Obama Justice Department's decision to drop the Black Panther case was certainly political and potentially corrupt," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "The Black Panther decision is a scandal for the Obama administration and it merits serious attention by investigators. Assistant Attorney General Perez seems to have been less than candid in his sworn testimony when he said no political appointees were involved in the decision. This scandal has just gotten a whole lot worse for the Obama Justice Department."
Mr. Fitton is going a bit to far when he says these documents prove that dropping the case was political, to be honest, they are no smoking gun.  But when added to the charges by Mr. Adams, it does show a pattern of misinformation coming from Mr. Perez.
.... Tom Perez, has testified repeatedly that the "facts and law" did not support this case. That claim is false. If the actions in Philadelphia do not constitute voter intimidation, it is hard to imagine what would, short of an actual outbreak of violence at the polls....
Most corrupt of all, the lawyers who ordered the dismissal - Loretta King, the Obama-appointed acting head of the Civil Rights Division, and Steve Rosenbaum - did not even read the internal Justice Department memorandums supporting the case and investigation. Just as Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. admitted that he did not read the Arizona immigration law before he condemned it, Mr. Rosenbaum admitted that he had not bothered to read the most important department documents detailing the investigative facts and applicable law in the New Black Panther case..
Not reading the file qualifies King and Rosenbaum to be members of Congress, but it is awful hard to make decisions about a legal case without reading the file.  The head of the Voting Rights Section of the DOJ Christopher Coates got so angry at Rosenbaum for making the decision without first reading about it, he threw the file at him. For the file toss, Coates was stripped of his responsibility and transfered to South Carolina.
Mr. Perez also inaccurately testified to the House Judiciary Committee that federal "Rule 11" required the dismissal of the lawsuit. Lawyers know that Rule 11 is an ethical obligation to bring only meritorious claims, and such a charge by Mr. Perez effectively challenges the ethics and professionalism of the five attorneys who commenced the case. Yet the attorneys who brought the case were voting rights experts and would never pursue a frivolous matter. Their experience in election law far surpassed the experience of the officials who ordered the dismissal.
These are very serious charges being brought forward by Mr. Adams. Charges that strike at the very heart of our American republic. He is reporting that equality before the law and freedom from racial discrimination is not offered to all Americans, and that an Assistant Attorney General of the Department of Justice has not testified honestly, a charge backed up the Assistant AG getting caught in another lie.  I wonder if this is what the President meant by "Change you can believe in." Looks as if the New Black Panther Case is about to heat up once again.
