The MSM continues to wonder why so many Americans question Obama's faith. Why so many believe him to be a Muslim and not the Christian that he professes to be. That last part bothers our thin-skinned egomaniacal community organizer-in-chief. So much so that he opened his mouth in regards to his faith, and showed himself not only to not be a Christian, but to be a false teacher in the biblical sense. Just check out this quote from the One himself via the New York Times:
"Being my brothers and sisters' keeper" is not a precept of Jesus Christ. "Treating others as they would treat me" is not a precept of Jesus Christ. What we have here is a community organizer making of Christian precepts for two reasons: 1) his own socialist edification, and relatedly 2) to link the scriptures with socialism. "My brothers' keeper" is a precept of socialism wherein everyone is responsible for other people, and proponents of that concept have no problem stealing money from some people to give it to others. "Treating others as they would treat me" is not a precept of Jesus Christ, from which the "Golden Rule" was coined. Obama even got the Golden Rule wrong! As far as I know, the Golden Rule is treating others like you would like them to treat you. If you treat people like they would treat you, then you would be obligated to steal from thieves. Beat up bullies. Rape rapists. What Obama should have referred to is Mathew 7 where Jesus said this (NIV version):
"I'm a Christian by choice," the president said. "My family, frankly, they weren't folks who went to church every week. My mother was one of the most spiritual people I knew but she didn't raise me in the church, so I came to my Christian faith later in life and it was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead. Being my brothers and sisters' keeper, treating others as they would treat me, ..."
12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.What Obama said was not what Jesus said. Nor is it the Golden Rule. FAIL! Next up, being your "brothers' keeper." That phrase shows up in only one place in the Bible: Genesis 4 (NIV):
To somehow twist that one instance of the phrase as a call to socialize society - something leftists are doing in greater frequency - is unbiblical. Nowhere in the Bible is the concept of taking by force from one to give to another justified. Socialism in simply unbiblical. Obama's faith doesn't rest on the Bible. It rests on a perverted twisting of it, which is apropos for the party that twists the US Constitution to do whatever they want. If ever you want to know if someone is a false teacher or not, be like the Bereans as described in Acts 17:
8 Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field." And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
9 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?"
"I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"
10 The LORD said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground.

This we all need to do to ascertain whether someone is speaking biblical truth or falsehood. Obama falls into the latter category.
