Woah. Charles Krauthammer challenged leftist NPR Correspondent Nina Totenberg on Inside Washington panel on Friday night to defend NPR's blatant hypocrisy.
"Why is it okay for Nina to express opinions, as she has tartly, sharply, unashamedly and openly" while serving as "an honored correspondent" for NPR, while Juan Williams, "because he expresses his opinions, gets canned from NPR?… It's completely illogical and hypocritical."
Totenberg has a long history of biased commentary and disgusting attacks on conservatives. Of course, Totenberg's fellow panelists rushed in to assist her after she was confronted on NPR's blatant hypocrisy.
On Friday Krauthammer blasted Totenberg and NPR for their hypocrisy.
Via NewsBusters:
Well done, Sir Charles.
More… You can vote to terminate federal funding of NPR at YouCut.
NPR firing Juan Williams for expressing his opinion demonstrates an over-reaching political correctness that is chipping away at the fundamental American freedoms of speech and expression. That is why we have included the termination of federal funding for NPR in the latest round of YouCut options.
We're asking you to weigh in: do you believe that your tax dollars should be going to fund NPR? Click here to vote on this week's cuts.
As always, we will take the item chosen by the YouCut community to the House floor for an up-or-down vote.
Regards,
Eric Cantor
House Republican Whip
