Article 1, Section 2 of the US Constitution:

The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.

No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.

As with the ruling class, the US Constitution doesn't apply to Ed Markey, who supposedly lives in his district officially, but who's neighbors have NEVER seen him even once. Markey is living in DC and has been for decades, using a beater house to maintain status as a resident on paper only. Via moonbattery: Ed Markey the Undocumented Congressman

Just so you know that not only is he not eligible to represent his Massachusetts district that he no longer lives in, but he is a rabid moonbat to boot. Indeed, Markey is co-author of the Markey-Waxman global warming bill that passed the House but thankfully died in the Senate. A bill that by the way my Representative Gary Peters voted for.
