Ohio McDonald’s Encourages Employees to Vote Republican

Business Ohio McDonald’s Encourages Employees to Vote Republican

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A handful of McDonald’s employees in northeastern Ohio received handbills in their most recent paychecks suggesting they vote for three Republican candidates.
The fast food chain’s corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill., quickly condemned the action by Canton franchisee Paul Siegfried, saying it violated company policy. Allen Schulman, an attorney representing one of the employees, said Friday he had forwarded the paycheck insert to Canton’s city law director, citing an Ohio law against corporate advocacy in elections.
“It’s no surprise to anyone that Ohio is a battleground state in this election, and for a multinational corporation like McDonald’s to threaten employees like this is morally and legally wrong,” Schulman said in a statement.
Siegfried issued an apology later Friday, emphasizing the value he places on employees and their freedom of choice in the upcoming election.
“Distributing this communication was an error of judgment on my part,” Siegfried said in a statement. “Please know, it was never my intention to offend anyone. For those that I have offended, I sincerely apologize.”
The handbill with a simple McDonald’s logo at the top recommended votes for Republicans John Kasich for governor, Rob Portman for U.S. Senate, and Jim Renacci for Ohio’s 16th congressional district. A Renacci campaign flier was also included.
“If the right people are elected we will be able to continue with raises and benefits at or above our present levels,” the insert said. “If others are elected we will not.”

Oh-My… 2/3′s of Americans Upset With Way Things Are Going – Obama Approval Sinks to New Low at 41%

Meltdown. Obama’s approval rating reached a new low today in the latest FOX News poll. Only 41% approve of the job the president is doing.

50 percent of voters prefer the Republican candidate in their district. Only 37 percent favor the local democrat.
FOX News reported:
With less than a week to go before Election Day, widespread dissatisfaction with the way things are going in the country combined with negative views of the economy and frustration with the government point to major trouble for the incumbent majority Democrats. In addition, a Fox News poll released Friday shows President Obama’s job approval has hit a record low.
The new poll finds if the election were held today, 50 percent of likely voters would favor the Republican candidate in their House district and 37 percent the Democratic candidate, with 10 percent still undecided.
When it comes to enthusiasm, more Republicans (76 percent) than Democrats (65 percent) are extremely or very interested in the elections, and more Republicans (91 percent) than Democrats (83 percent) plan to vote for their party’s candidate…
Two-thirds of voters are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country today, and more than not think Barack Obama’s presidency has made the country weaker (45 percent) rather than stronger (37 percent).
The president’s job approval among registered voters is currently 41 percent, a record low. This compares to 43 percent in mid-October and 46 percent in early September. Half disapprove of Obama’s performance. Among likely voters, negative sentiment is even stronger: 40 percent approve and 55 percent disapprove.
Frustrations are high. Most voters feel dissatisfied (51 percent) or even angry (25 percent) about the way the federal government is working. Just one in five is satisfied (22 percent), while 2 percent are enthusiastic. Angry voters are backing the Republican candidate by a 65-point margin.

Shock: Radical Muslim Cleric Describes Islam for CNN

During an appearance on CNN's Parker/Spitzer, Radical Muslim cleric Imam Anjem Choudry revealed a few unsettling details of Islamic extremists' worldview, including the role of "moderate" Muslims in spreading Sharia law around the globe.  Choudry says that spreading Sharia law is a "noble" goal as it represents a "superior way of life" compared to the "shackles of man-made law."

According to Choudry, violent terrorist attacks are a "peaceful" warning to countries like the United States and Israel, whom he claims are occupying Muslim lands. He also admits to encouraging Muslims in the United States to carry out these kinds of attacks:

h/t Townhall

Spitzer: Are you communicating with individuals in the United States and encouraging them to participate in attacks of this sort?

Choudry: Of course I am.  I am participating in communication with people all around the world.  As you know, the internet makes the world a very small place. … My invitation is a peaceful one to people to embrace Islam, and to warn them of the consequences of occupying Muslim land.  I think that's a very decent thing…

“Rally to Resore Sanity” pledges to “strictly prohibit filming” at National Mall

“Rally to Resore Sanity” pledges to “strictly prohibit filming” at National Mall

By: J.P. Freire
Associate Commentary Editor
10/29/10 10:35 PM EDT

Irony reaches new heights at Comedy Central is going to “strictly prohibit filming” of the Rally to Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive. PJTV’s Washington Bureau chief Richard Pollock inquired with the Comedy Central’s senior vice president of corporate communications Steve Albani about receiving credentials. Albani claimed that Pollock would not be given credentials because of limited supply, and as such there would be no room on the “press riser” for PJTV’s camera and crew. When Pollock said that he’d be fine with filming not on the press riser, Albani said that filming would be “strictly prohibited” between 3rd and 7th streets on the National Mall (ground zero for the event). The email exchange is further down.
The claim that Comedy Central can prohibit filming on federal property during an event open to the public is completely wrong. I know this because I organized the first D.C. Tea Party event (again, prior to my employment at The Examiner, yadda yadda), meaning I’ve gone through the process of getting a permit on federal property run by the National Park Service, which is precisely what Comedy Central had to do. And under the special events guidelines, which Albani may not have taken time to look at, is this:
News coverage of the event is allowed without additional permits unless significant additional equipment set-up, which is not depicted on the Permittees site plan, is involved. Arrangements for press and broadcast media coverage of the event must be made at least seven (7) days before the opening day of the event.
Here’s another resource, too. If PJTV’s crew walks around with handheld cameras, they’re well within their rights, particularly as a media organization — especially considering the number of camera phones, Flipcams, and personal camcorders that will be used during the event. But wait — it looks like somebody at Comedy Central read the rules because there’s a list on the Rally’s Frequently Asked Questions page about what is not permitted, and cameras are unlisted. In fact, the FAQ even says that the event is open to the media and to contact about credentials.
You don’t need credentials to film an event open to the public on federal land that has already permitted other media outlets. Comedy Central has not leased the National Mall, nor could it. In other words, quit it. Either this is a fun publicity stunt steeped in irony or it’s an exercise in corporate control.
In fact, the Tea Party movement has done a bang-up job allowing as many kooky reporters and camera-toting people into their rallies, and simply found ways to deal with it without clamping down on free press. (The most innovative is using signs to expose Tea Party imposters.)
There’s the real irony: While this rally seeks to make fun of Tea Party activists who advocate for freedom, Comedy Central is looking to tightly control the event as much as possible. Lame.
Be sure and read Pollock’s fantastic rejoinder at the end of the email thread.

Richard – you should have received notification yesterday.  Unfortunately, due to extremely limited riser locations, we are not able to accommodate your request for credentials.  However, the event is free and open to public so we encourage you to attend with the general audience.
Please note, taping for television or any other filming is strictly prohibited between 3rd and 7th Street without a media credential.  The event will be broadcast live on Comedy Central and comedycentral.com and a clean feed will also be available by satellite – coordinates will be released when they are available.  Please contact Renata Luczak to receive the satellite coordinates.

Hi Steve,
Well your risers, you own.  As Comedy Central, you have property rights and complete control over that. No one will deny you that. We are content, though disappointed with your decision to withhold media credentials to us.
However, the last I heard the First Amendment still does apply to America.  It not only applies to TV hosts, show producers and to networks, but extends to the public and to events held on federal land. Yes, public lands! Although it may not make any sense to you at this moment, the National Mall is not a TV set, although it may look like one.
As the former chief Washington producer for ABC’s “Good Morning America” for nine years, let me assure you that you cannot bar cameras from public walkways on the Mall.  It has never happened.
And so we will be there crew and all.
It does seem a bit incredulous that a rally for “reasonableness” should exclude freely based camera crews exercising their First Amendment rights to cover your attendees walking on public property.  Unless this is Prague in 1968.  And unless Comedy Central own tanks.  Or unless it deploys a Comedy Police with enforcement powers.
On the other hand maybe I got this all wrong…I thought you were merely trying to be clever when you said it was a rally for fear.  If is that, then I certainly understand your attitudes and rules.
See you tomorrow!
All the best,
Richard

Eyewitness saw strange goings-on at Yemen's international airport at time of jihad plot

More on the jihad plot out of Yemen, targeting Chicago synagogues. "Interesting Details Surrounding the Al Qaeda Cargo Plane Plot Out of Yemen," by Erick Stakelbeck at CBN, October 29:

[...] Here are a few interesting details on Yemen that I became aware of this afternoon after speaking with an intelligence source who actually flew out of Sana'a, Yemen to Dubai yesterday, around the time the explosives were found.

1) The source noticed several things which seemed strange or outright alarming at Sana'a International (El Rahaba) airport in Yemen. For one, according to my source, pre-teen boys were pulling bags out of x-ray machines and essentially acting as porters, complete with uniforms. And you thought TSA had problems.

2) The source noticed a good deal of large bags, "30 or 40 of them," being brought by porters (grown adults, this time) to the personal baggage terminal, rather than to the cargo terminal, which seemed odd. Given the conditions my source described, it obviously isn't very hard to imagine a suspicious package making its way onto a plane flying out of Yemen.

It also isn't difficult to imagine that Al Qaeda may have sympathizers or operatives actually working at the airport who would help facilitate getting explosives onto flights....

There is more. Read it all.

Barack Obama spoke out on the terror threat today after several suspicious packages sent from Yemen to the United States. Barack Obama believes we just need to help the Yemeni government put these Islamic terrorists to work.

"Going forward we will continue to strengthen our cooperation with the Yemeni government to disrupt plotting by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and to destroy this Al-Qaeda affiliate. We'll also continue our efforts to strengthen a more stable, secure and prosperous Yemen so that Islamic terrorists groups do not have the time and space they need to plan attacks from within its borders."

Obama also forgot to mention that the packages were planted by suspected "Muslim" extremists.
He didn't want to offend anyone.

And, since when did the worst jobs president since the Great Depression become an expert on creating jobs?

Harry Reid's Son in Charge of Nevada Voting Machines Used in Fraud

Posted by Van Helsing at October 29, 2010 2:03 PM
What could be worse than putting Nevada voting machines under the control of Obama's hyperpartisan friends at the SEIU? How about putting them under the control of Harry Reid's son?
Rory Reid is running as the Democratic nominee for governor of Nevada against Republican Brian Sandoval. Rory currently holds the office of Chairman of the powerful Clark County Commission…
El Rushbo explains what this means:
This is Mark Hemingway in the Washington Examiner: "Clark County is where three quarters of Nevada's residents and live and where Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's son Rory is a county commissioner." That means that Harry Reid's son is the person in charge of overseeing the election machines that are being maintained by the SEIU. Now, why would Rory Reid be suspected of any shenanigans here? But he is. "Since early voting started, there have been credible reports that voting machines in Clark County, Nevada are automatically checking Harry Reid's name on the ballot."
Just call it the Audacity of Arrogance.

The Bill Clinton and Kendrick Meek fiasco runs deeper than might be thought

Written By Larry Blades the former Dean of the University of Iowa and Kansas law schools. Graduate of Dartmouth College and Michigan Law School where he was editor of the law review.
“Why look you now, how unworthy a thing you make of me!”
It is reported that this is how Kendrick Meek responded to Bill Clinton’s White House-approved entreaty that Meek quit the Florida senate race. Well, maybe not. But it certainly would have been appropriate if Meek had said this.
Kendrick Meek is a very attractive and decent senatorial candidate. He’d probably win almost any other senatorial race except for the current one in Florida where he is up against a very attractive Hispanic opponent in a state with a heavy Hispanic population.

And now Bill Clinton has asked Kendrick Meek to think about giving up what looks like a lost cause in trying to become a U.S. Senator from Florida.
Does anyone out there wonder why a candidate as attractive and decent as Kendrick Meek would be asked to bow out of the Florida senate race in favor of a chintzy, shallow flip-flopping opportunist like Charlie Crist? Is it the least bit plausible that this last-minute maneuvering comes from a sincere desire to elect the likes of former Republican Charlie Crist?
Obviously not. The only answer is that this recent scheming is prompted by a desperate desire to derail Marco Rubio. Not so much because he is a Republican. Not so much because he is a conservative. It is essentially because he is a conservative Republican Hispanic.
The election of an attractive and articulate Hispanic like Marco Rubio is something liberals find intolerable. Why? For the same reason liberals tried so hard to derail the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Black and Hispanic role models–especially attractive ones–are anathema to liberals. Blacks and Hispanics are expected by liberals to stay in their place–as loyal, reliable and unthinking knee-jerk inhabitants of the liberal plantation. And any black or Hispanic–who by the force of his ability to articulate conservative values that other blacks or Hispanics might find appealing–has to be discredited or even destroyed lest blacks or Hispanics be persuaded by him to leave the liberal reservation.
It was bad enough when liberals pulled the pathetic Anita Hill out of their swamp in their effort to destroy Clarence Thomas. Liberals have now gone to an even lower level of their swamp in seeking to sacrifice a decent candidate like Kendrick Meek and promote a meretricious opportunist like Charlie Crist–all in order to prevent an attractive conservative Republican Hispanic from gaining a position of prominence–a position of great political visibility from which too many other Hispanics might be persuaded to abandon the liberal plantation.

In an attempt to prevent voter fraud — namely, votes being attributed to the deceased — one Virginia tea party activist has launched the tongue in cheek Tea Party Paranormal Society. Mark Lloyd established the site as a way to educate fellow tea partiers on preventing election fraud in Tuesday's pivotal midterm election.

Instructions listed on the site urge readers to collect lists of the recently deceased and use it to compare against and purge their local voter rolls by notifying party officials or official poll watchers.

Lloyd's site also includes this fun featurette, a remake of the "Night of the Living Dead" dubbed "Night of the Voting Dead." The video message warns about so-called dead voters, "whose stolen names vote for the living, feeding voraciously on the body politic."

Government Reid Promises Lame-Duck Senate Vote on Amnesty for Young Illegals

According to the Huffington Post, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has pledged to hold a vote on the so-called DREAM Act, a bill which would allow some undocumented young people to assume legal status. Previously, Reid and other Senate Democrats had tried to slip the measure into a defense authorization bill along with a repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. But a Republican filibuster halted the bill, ending the chances the measure would be voted on before the November midterm elections.
Univision’s Jorge Ramos recently interviewed Reid and says the senator promised to hold the vote, “win or lose.” The prospects of the measure’s passage are exciting liberal immigration activists who have been pushing for comprehensive immigration reform from the Democrat-controlled Congress and White House. HuffPo reports:
“The DREAM Act would give a group of young immigrants here without immigration status through no fault of their own the chance to attend college, serve in the military and earn citizenship,” said Frank Sharry, executive director of America’s Voice. “These valedictorians, future scientists and future soldiers are Americans in all but paperwork, and we are thrilled that Senator Reid is committed to moving this common-sense measure before the end of the year.”
“We support and will be looking for viable efforts to pass the DREAM Act after the election,” said Center for American Progress Vice President for Immigration Policy Advocacy Angela Kelley. “In order for that to happen however, like-minded Republicans will have to step forward and show their support for this modest measure to provide relief to young people. There hasn’t been a lot to suggest that bipartisan constructive conversation on immigration is possible, but I’d love to be proven wrong.”
Depending on the outcome of Tuesday’s elections, Reid and a number of other Democratic senators may be on their way out.  Reid’s opponent, Republican Sharron Angle, has used Reid’s support for the DREAM Act to drive some voters into her camp.  One of her campaign ads characterizes the DREAM Act as giving “preferred college tuition rates” to illegal immigrants.
Regardless of what happens Tuesday, however, it looks like the DREAM Act will be on the Senate’s lame-duck docket.

Nancy Pelosi, other Dem leaders may step down if GOP wins big

By: Matthew Sheffield
Washington Examiner
10/29/10 3:30 PM EDT

Publicly, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her aides are refusing to discuss the topic of Democrats losing control of the House but behind the scenes, there is discussion that she may resign not just her leadership position but also her San Francisco-area seat after having served in the very powerful position of speaker.
It’d be hard not to blame Pelosi for making that decision. After having had it all in the House–including being one of two main architect of the health insurance law commonly called Obamacare–going back to being a member of the minority, even if she’s still the Democratic leader.
Her Republican predecessor, Dennis Hastert, said earlier this month that even if Democrats manage to maintain their majority, he doesn’t think Pelosi will be able to maintain her post.
“I think even if the Democrats win, which I don’t think they’ll win, I don’t think Nancy Pelosi will be speaker,” Hastert in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
That prediction may be off even though a handful of Democrats say they will vote against her should she run, simply because there aren’t a lot of members willing to go up against her. Her current deputy, Steny Hoyer of Maryland, says he won’t run ever challenge her again after she defeated him in a bitter contest for minority leader in 2001.
There’s one scenario where Pelosi might stick around, however:
Some Democrats caution that Pelosi’s approach hinges — in the words of one Democratic lobbyist — on whether “this is a wave or this is a tsunami.” If Republicans seize a narrow majority, Pelosi could have more of an incentive to stay in leadership, perhaps in part to lay the groundwork for winning back the House in 2012.
If Democrats find themselves within striking distance of reclaiming the majority, “the Democratic Caucus may demand she stay put,” the former House Democratic leadership staffer said.
But if Democrats suffer heavier losses, Members may turn to the Caucus’ No. 2, Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (Md.), to unify them.
Pelosi may not be the only high-ranking Democrat to willingly or unwillingly quit a leadership post:
Other Democrats are sure to follow Pelosi out of the Capitol. After the GOP lost the House in 2006, 27 Republicans called it quits. But in the case of Pelosi’s Democratic cloakroom, the exodus could be deeper: five of the 20 current committee chairmen are her allies from California. Without their champion, some veterans such as Education and Labor Committee chairman George Miller, who has been in Congress since 1975, may be inclined to leave. Even if they don’t head for the exits, they might choose to abandon their gavels: Standards Committee chair Zoe Lofgren, also of California, is serving at Pelosi’s request and has made no secret of her distaste at being her colleagues’ ethical watchdog. (See the rising stars of American politics in “40 Under 40.”)
Others are older — Rules Committee chair Louise Slaughter and Judiciary Committee chairman John Conyers, both 81, know that life in the minority holds less appeal for octogenarians. And, in any case, it might be time for some fresh blood. The average age of Democratic House chairs is nearly 70, while top Republicans are, on average, a decade younger — thanks, in part, to the 2006 spate of retirements. Democratic chairs have spent an average of 13.5 terms, or 27 years, in office, compared to Republicans who average 9.5 terms, or 19 years, in office.
Two chairmen have already retired: Appropriations Committee chief David Obey of Wisconsin and Tennessee’s Bart Gordon, the top Dem on the Science and Technology Committee. Both seats look likely to fall into GOP hands next week.

Majority of Barney Frank Donations from Outside Massachusetts

You would think that's relevant to this story about the Sean Bielat-Barney Frank race in Massachusetts. But of course the Boston Globe buries that news in the story and instead leads with the fact Bielat is also getting a large chunk of his money from outside Massachusetts, as if there's something nefarious about that. If Bielat had to rely strictly on donations from in-state Republicans he'd be on a shoestring budget.
A late surge in out-of-state donations is fueling Republican Sean Bielat’s stiff challenge of 15-term US Representative Barney Frank.

Seventy-six percent of Bielat donors who gave $200 or more within the last four weeks live outside Massachusetts. That’s up from about 41 percent for the prior five-week period that ended Sept. 30, a Globe review of Federal Election Commission reports shows.

The figures suggest that Bielat, who has made regular appearances on Fox News and conservative media outlets, has succeeded in his attempts to nationalize the race for the Fourth Congressional District seat.

The Brookline resident’s recent donors include country music star Hank Williams Jr. ($1,000), New York financier Carl Icahn ($2,400, the maximum for an individual), and a number of hedge fund and investment firm executives. US Representative Michele Bachmann, Republican of Minnesota and a favorite of the Tea Party movement, has donated $1,000 from both her congressional candidate committee and leadership PAC to Bielat.

In addition, Arizona Senator John McCain’s 2008 political committee donated $2,000, and McCain’s Country First leadership PAC gave Bielat the $5,000 maximum last week. Bielat has also attracted money from the conservative Citizens United and Freedom Project PACs, both of which contributed $5,000.

“He’s going on right-wing news shows and talk radio and raising a lot of money,’’ said Harry Gural, Frank’s spokesman. “It’s a huge resource when you have an audience of millions of people across the country, and parts of the Fox News audience and parts of the talk radio world, who have listened to Barney being vilified for years.’’
Funny, but last I checked those who listen to the radio and watch the evil Fox News are also Americans and are free to donate to whomever they please. But they way the sniveling Frank people talk it's as if these people don't have rights, they're non-citizens or something.

Apparently only when Republicans get money from outside the state it's relevant. Back in 2008 when Obama was getting millions in unidentified donations from the Middle East the media ignored the story. When Obama's thugs make unsubstantiated claims the Chamber of Commerce is using foreign money to contribute to the GOP, then it's news for three weeks (funny how that lame attack disappeared the past week, isn't it?).

Buried deep down they admit Frank also takes in the majority of his money from out of state. I'll assume that comes from people who get their news from left-wing news shows and NPR listeners.
Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, has long relied heavily on out-of-state money, much of it from executives in the financial sector his committee oversees. He has consistently taken in nearly 60 percent of his money from non-Bay Staters during the campaign, records indicate.
Gee, isn't it a conflict of interest to take money from the financial sector? Is Frank being repaid for favors he's given? It's worth noting Frank has received over $40,000 from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac executives over the years. Isn't that a conflict of interest consider he was the staunchest defender all these years?

Obama legal adviser confirms he wrote letter trashing Sotomayor, tries to backtrack from criticism

By: Matthew Sheffield
Washington Examiner
10/29/10 10:00 AM EDT

Yesterday, I blogged about the disclosure of a letter from one of President Obama’s top legal advisers, Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe, who very bluntly urged his former student not to nominate eventual Supreme Court justice Sonia Sotomayor to the court. “She’s not nearly as smart as she seems to think she is,” Tribe had written.
In an article published today, the Wall Street Journal confirmed with Tribe that he did write the letter, revealed first by conservative legal activist Ed Whelan at National Review, and quoted an email from Tribe distancing himself from his criticism of Sotomayor:
In an emailed comment, Mr. Tribe sought to back away from his criticism.
The “reservations I expressed about Justice Sotomayor prior to her appointment were amply refuted by the closer study I was later able to give her record and that have been fully negated by her performance as a justice,” Mr. Tribe said.
In his email Thursday, Mr. Tribe said: “I’ve long held Justices Breyer and Kennedy in the highest regard, both as friends and as jurists, and I certainly regret any contrary implication.”
Jesse Choper, a law professor at the University of California, Berkeley, said Mr. Tribe’s assessment of the court’s internal dynamics was consistent with what other observers of the court have noted.
While Justice Breyer “is trying to occupy a role counter to Scalia,” he lacks the outsize personality that made liberals such as Chief Justice Earl Warren or the late Justice William Brennan so influential, said Mr. Choper, a former clerk to Chief Justice Warren.
Maybe it’s just me but there seems to be an eerie similarity between Choper’s comment and an argument we’ve heard in another context–talk radio.  We’re constantly hearing how liberal talk radio can’t succeed because it is overly intellectual and it takes too long for hosts to articulate their intelligent philosophies to the public, in contrast to the alleged bumper-sticker philosophy of conservative talk radio hosts.
Who’d have know that apparently liberal judges have the same problem? SAT preppers take note: Rush Limbaugh is to Antonin Scalia as Ed Schultz is to Stephen Breyer.

From New Zealand Patriot:

Jarvis Tyner, national executive vice-chair of the Communist Party USA, spoke in Detroit October 7, on the need to for "left and progressive" minded people to help insure a huge voter turnout for the midterm election.

Tyner is uncompromising in his support for the Democrats and Communist Party "friend" Barack Obama.

They’re not even hiding it anymore…
The Communist Party USA is openly working with the Hopey-Changers.

The caption under the photo reads: “If the grand alliance that elected Barack Obama comes out in full force to vote we can stop the Tea Party/Republican takeover, continue moving forward and push further for green jobs, union rights, health care and the safety net for the common good.”

Obama is informed of Rush Limbaugh’s “Reverse Operation Chaos” push

Do you know what's really funny? The realization that, late at night, long past 3am, Obama's very clearly kept awake at night wondering not only what Hillary Clinton is up to — plotting against him — but what Governor Palin is doing, wherever she is, too. In the bunker that has become the current West [...]

Communist Party USA Teams up with Democrats on “Get Out The Vote.”

RWB News: If this doesn't show supporters of the "New" Democratic Party that their party has been hijacked by the Progressives and Communist agendas then I don't know what will. They are not even hiding it any longer….."in your face" type of support. If you go to the actual Communist Party USA website, you will see what other Democrat Party affiliations are helping the Commies destroy economy. I hope Independents are paying attention.

I have already had Liberals saying: But But But Where is their connection to the Dems? Give me a break! The Communist Party USA is openly and actively collaborating with the DNC, Obama's personal campaign (Organizing for America), MoveOn.org, Rock the vote and the AFL-CIO. If the "New" Democratic Party is not collaborating then why have your links on the Commie Website…DUH!!!! Obama's own Personal Website is a backer…..Geeeesh….Wake Up America!!!

(Directorblue.blogspot.com) Just wondering: when did it become acceptable among Democrats to openly collaborate with Communists, whose stated goal is the destruction of the American economy?

Or, put another way, when did it become acceptable for Democrats to intentionally destroy the economy in order to "transform" (their word, not mine) America.

Socialism, Communism and any other branch of Marxism is completely incompatible with the United States Constitution. And any Democrats who sympathize with these philosophies have automatically disqualified themselves from holding office. Because they simply can't honestly take an oath to uphold that which they despise.

Patrick Leahy: we're looking at you.

Dems Hate Black People… Kendrick Meek is 3rd Black Male Senate Candidate Dems Told to Step Down

First democratic leaders would not support Senator Roland Burris (D-IL) in his election bid.
He announced that he would not run back on June 9, 2009.

Then democrats publicly urged true democrat Alvin Greene to drop his senate bid after he was indicted on two charges of showing obscenity to a college student.

Greene refused to step down.

Now, democrats are pushing Democrat Kendrick Meek to step down in Florida senate race.
Why are democrats so racist?

Video: Obama admits that ObamaCare was just a Trojan Horse

He admitted it on the Jon Liebowitz show:
Video via Verum Serum (via Ed Morrissey), which has this:
We knew the President wasn't telling the truth back then. Every time the President promised "if you like the plan you have now, you can keep it" he was telling, at best, half the truth. Every time he said it was about "choice and competition" he was being dishonest. This was always a framework for change. Canadian-style single-payer is what they've always wanted and it's what they still want.
We reached out to various reporters trying to get them to cover the story of the public option and explain to people why it was so important to liberals on Capitol Hill. Despite the fact that the public option was the center of the controversy for months, no one would touch it. And so, with the exception of a couple editorials and talk radio, no one informed Americans that health reform was, from its inception, designed to engulf the private system over time. Other than Glenn Beck's show and a few other places, none of those video clips of people admitting the real plan ever appeared on TV. But now we have one final clip to add to our collection, the one above of the President admitting we were right.
President Obama says he'll keep pushing to expand health control as long as he's in office. That sounds like a great reason to make sure he only gets one term.
This should come as old news to readers of this blog. From last December: Video: Obama planned to expand Medicare all along as Trojan horse to single-payer

GDP grew 2.0% in 3rd quarter, Federal spending up 8.8%

In the last piece of major economic news to be released before the crucial 2010 midterm elections, the Bureau of Economic Analysis says that the US economy grew at the glacial pace of 2.0% in the quarter between July 1 and September 30:

Real gross domestic product -- the output of goods and services produced by labor and propertylocated in the United States -- increased at an annual rate of 2.0 percent in the third quarter of 2010,(that is, from the second quarter to the third quarter), according to the "advance" estimate released bythe Bureau of Economic Analysis. In the second quarter, real GDP increased 1.7 percent.

The Bureau emphasized that the third-quarter advance estimate released today is based on source data that are incomplete or subject to further revision by the source agency (see the box on page 3).The "second" estimate for the third quarter, based on more complete data, will be released on November 23, 2010.

The increase in real GDP in the third quarter primarily reflected positive contributions frompersonal consumption expenditures (PCE), private inventory investment, nonresidential fixedinvestment, federal government spending, and exports that were partly offset by a negative contributionfrom residential fixed investment. Imports, which are a subtraction in the calculation of GDP, increased.

The small acceleration in real GDP in the third quarter primarily reflected a sharp deceleration inimports and accelerations in private inventory investment and in PCE that were partly offset by adownturn in residential fixed investment and decelerations in nonresidential fixed investment and inexports.

Real federal government consumption expenditures and gross investment increased 8.8 percentin the third quarter, compared with an increase of 9.1 percent in the second. National defense increased8.5 percent, compared with an increase of 7.4 percent. Nondefense increased 9.6 percent, comparedwith an increase of 12.8 percent. Real state and local government consumption expenditures and gross investment decreased 0.2 percent, in contrast to an increase of 0.6 percent.

Real nonresidential fixed investment increased 9.7 percent in the third quarter, compared with anincrease of 17.2 percent in the second. Nonresidential structures increased 3.9 percent, in contrast to adecrease of 0.5 percent. Equipment and software increased 12.0 percent, compared with an increase of24.8 percent. Real residential fixed investment decreased 29.1 percent, in contrast to an increase of 25.7percent.

Though the 2.0% figure is mostly in line with analyst estimates, it still indicates that the economy is not growing robustly enough to stimulate job creation or change the Fed's mind about the need for quantitative easing—a monetary policy move that risks inflation and further erodes the dollar in foreign exchange markets.

Two key pieces of data in today's release:

Residential investment, one of the best leading indicators of expected growth, fell by an eye-popping 29% and federal expenditures increased by nearly 9%.  This means that government spending is the primary reason for the GDP growth.  The private sector is still struggling and is not likely to liven up anytime soon.  Meanwhile, the federal government continues to spend at nearly a double-digit pace, using money that must be borrowed and increasing the federal debt.

This pace is absolutely unsustainable.

Far Left Hoodlum Disrupts National Anthem at Tea Party Rally (Video)

This far left hoodlum disrupted the National Anthem at a tea party rally earlier this week in St. Louis. The goon marched through the crowd with his anti-Beck sign during the anthem and then positioned himself between the crowd and the US flag.

Donna added:

On October 27, the Tea Party Express rally in St. Louis begins with the National Anthem. A man protesting against the Tea Party makes his way between the audience and the American flag while waving his signs which mock Glenn Beck. He stations himself on a ledge in the fountain right in full view of Patriots saluting our nation's flag. Some people have no class.

Disgraceful!

The leftist later told the patriots that he was from the Coffee Party.

SHOCKING!… Unhinged MoveOn.org Goon Chokes Jesse Kelly Supporter (Video)

If You Can't Beat Them, Choke Them–

This MoveOn.org goon had heard enough.
Don't expect this to make it on the front page:

Jess Kelly supporter James Massee was exercising his 1st Amendment rights when a Gabrielle Giffords supporter came up and choked him.

Publius Pundit reported:

At the first debate at the University of Arizona between Democrat Gabrielle Giffords and Republican Jesse Kelly, a fictitious group called Republicorp showed up trying to convince people that the Republican Party is bought off by Wall St (despite the FACT that most contributions from Wall St went to Obama).

Well, it appears that these may be the Chicago goons we were looking for. Since they cannot tolerate any dissent, one of the "Republicorp" liberal activists tried to shut up a Jesse Kelly supporter who was telling the crowd about Gabrielle Giffords' record of voting with Nancy Pelosi… By choking him.

Here's the video:

Republicorp is a Soros-funded MoveOn.org creation.
