After vigorously defending Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's self-congratulatory comments about saving the world from a global depression and condemning the "desperate" Republicans, a hot mic caught unsuspecting liberal Fox News pundit Alan Colmes giving his honest opinion about the situation today.
"If I were Reid's press secretary, I would have said more what I said, that he was obviously speaking metaphorically," Colmes can be heard saying. Fox News host Megyn Kelly interrupts Colmes, noting that they're still on-air as the show enters a commercial break:
