In truth, Congress has become a farce long before they invited a comedian to come testify before them in character. This is the same Congress run by Democrats that has been threatening and bribing members its own party to pass sweeping and unconstitutional legislation thousands of pages in length in the dark of night that they themselves refuse to even read. This episode of having a comedian testify before Congress is apropos for the ruling class that appears now to need a court jester to keep them laughing while they conspire to steal away our freedoms and liberties:
Next up, Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura testifying on behalf of PETA? Maybe Andy Griffith in character as Matlock making the case for ObamaCare on the taxpayer dime? Anyone on that committee worth their salt would have walked out on the hearing. Congress was already a joke. Now it's an even worse one.
