U.S. Taxpayers Spend Over $2 Million to Promote Condom Use and Reduce Needle Sharing Among Drug Users in Kazakhstan (CNSNews.com) – A federally funded study testing ways to decrease HIV and sexually transmitted infections, promote condom use, and reduce unsafe injection practices among drug users in Kazakhstan received over $2 million from U.S. taxpayers since 2008.
