Attn MSM: Here’s Evidence of Foreign Campaign Donations
Turns out Obama received foreign campaign contributions from over 50 countries. Glad you brought that up.

Strong words for the President, especially when you consider that his 2008 campaign was riddled with foreign donations and other irregularities.
The investigation showed that Gaza wasn't the President's only source foreign dollars, his campaign accepted contributions came from over 50 nations. They tried to scam the system by having the foreign contributors make multiple small donations, seemingly in their own names, over a period of a few days, while the individual donations were under maximum allowed, but the aggregate were in excess of the maximums. Other donations came in from donors with fake names such as "Hbkjb," "jkbkj," and "Doodad."
Thousands of Obama's foreign donations ended in cents. This was evidence of foreign contributors sending in donations in foreign currencies that were exchanged into dollars resulting in odd amounts.
The Obama campaign received a substantial amount of money from countries that have an interest in seeing a weak American President: $366,708.22 from China, $25,259.00 from the United Arab Emirates, $7,062.60 from Russia, and $6,716.28 from Saudi Arabia. Obama also took in $6,350.00 from Indonesia, $5,000.00 from Kenya, and $1,750.00 from Egypt.
The records also indicate that Obama also took donations from Tamil Tiger leaders. The Tamil Tigers are, according to the FBI, the most successful terrorist group in the world. While the Hillary Clinton returned contributions from the Tamil Tigers, Obama kept them.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Founding Father of the American welfare state, had qualms about the Frankenstein monster he set in motion:
"The lessons of history … show conclusively that continued dependence upon relief induces a spiritual and moral disintegration fundamentally destructive to the national fiber. To dole out relief in this way is to administer a narcotic, a subtle destroyer of the human spirit."
These searing words about Depression-era welfare are from Franklin Roosevelt's 1935 State of the Union Address. FDR feared this self-reliant people might come to depend permanently upon government for the necessities of their daily lives. Like narcotics, such a dependency would destroy the fiber and spirit of the nation.
What brings his words to mind is news that 41.8 million Americans are on food stamps, and the White House estimates 43 million will soon be getting food stamps every month. …
What we have accepted today is a vast permanent underclass of scores of millions who cannot cope and must be carried by the rest of society — fed, clothed, housed, tutored, medicated at taxpayer's expense for their entire lives. We have a new division in America: those who pay a double fare, and those who forever ride free.
The longer we allow this intolerable state of affairs to continue, the more politically impossible it becomes to reverse it:
Efforts to tame America's ballooning budget deficit could soon confront a daunting reality: Nearly half of all Americans live in a household in which someone receives government benefits, more than at any time in history.
At the same time, the fraction of American households not paying federal income taxes has also grown — to an estimated 45% in 2010, from 39% five years ago, according to the Tax Policy Center, a nonpartisan research organization. …
"We have a very large share of the American population that is getting checks from the government," says Keith Hennessey, an economic adviser to President George W. Bush and now a fellow at the conservative Hoover Institution, "and an increasingly smaller portion of the population that's paying for it."
We have reinstituted slavery. Those who work are slaves to those who don't. The actual masters are the government bureauweenies who take upon themselves the responsibility of redistributing the wealth created by the slaves, while keeping a explosively growing cut for themselves.
Soon we will reach the tipping point, where more than half of the population lives parasitically off the enslaved remainder. Democracy will have become two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner. Soon after that, our civilization will come tumbling down. As Margaret Thatcher famously observed, socialists inevitably run out of other people's money.
We may not make it to this tipping point before plunging into ruin. The situation is already clearly unsustainable:
Treasury reported that the government ran a $1.26 trillion deficit for the first 11 months of the fiscal year, on pace to be the second-biggest on record.
Yet even as Americans express concern over the deficit in opinion polls, many oppose benefit cuts, particularly with the economy on an uneven footing.
But the more money Big Government sucks out of the economy and uses to pay people not to work, the longer it will take the economy to recover. That's how the vicious cycle of government "help" works.
Breaking an addiction is never easy. Whether we follow the Soviet Union into the quicksand of socialism or pull ourselves back from the brink, there is going to be pain. The liberals who constructed and expanded the welfare state made it inevitable.

Told ya so: Mortgage and Foreclosure Crisis, Part Deux
On April 12, I wrote about a potential second mortgage crunch, possibly beginning as early as this year. There are tens—possibly even hundreds—of billions in Option Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM's) and unsecuritized ARM's scheduled for reset between now and September 2012.
Option ARM's are mortgages where borrowers pay very little actual principal and interest, rolling unpaid P&I back into the loan. Once scheduled account caps are hit, the loan "resets," changing the terms and conditions of the loan and potentially forcing borrowers to either make higher payments, refinance completely or go delinquent. A large chunk of resetting loans are unsecuritized, meaning banks are servicing the loans with no backup from FNMA or FHMC (that's Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for those of you in Santa Barbara). But agency-backed loans are still a big part of the problem, and the ARM portion of the agency portfolios are performing about as well as the sub-primes were in 2007-08.
As Credit Suisse warned last spring, ARM resets and delinquencies are going to be a problem for several years to come. While the percentage of sub-prime loans in the future waves of resets are smaller than those in the 2008-2009 crisis, there are large numbers of shaky mortgages left on the horizon, and the horizon is closing quickly. From 2010 through 2012, more than $1 trillion in ARM's will reset. Pay particular attention to the proportion of agency and Option ARM's.
If large numbers of these loans go belly up—and many competent analysts think they probably will—Who's going to bail them out?

Fannie and Freddie were raped and pillaged by connected Democrats like Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson, Jamie Gorelick, Tom Donilon, and many others. It was wracked by accounting scandals that mysteriously spawned generous bonuses for these executives. With the help of Democrats in Congress, it blocked eighteen separate attempts by the Bush administration to audit the entities and to implement traditional risk management controls.
Should the housing market collapse again, a large part of the blame must once again be assigned to the Democrat Party and its policy of wealth redistribution. The central planners' plans can't work, won't work and have never worked.
And you and I -- the beleaguered taxpayers -- are on the hook for their idiocy.
Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters and the rest of the social engineering geniuses who protected Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from regulatory oversight during the Democrat housing boom -- and their own outrageous and damning testimony can be seen here -- should be serving life sentences in Leavenworth.

What an idiot: Obama thinks a nail pounder can be a concrete guy constructing roads
How utterly simplistic is the view of Obama. A construction guy that pounds nails can likewise construct roads? He actually thinks that, well, concrete is concrete, so pouring a house foundation is exactly like pouring a road? Just, wow.
"Nearly one in five construction workers is still unemployed and needs a job, and that makes absolutely no sense at a time when there's so much of America that needs rebuilding," Obama said Monday in the Rose Garden.
This is what happens when a guy is elected that has zero understanding of the national economy outside walking around a Chicago neighborhood looking for zoning violations. And it's just compounded by the people with whom he surrounds himself: Partisan hacks that play politics without ever having run anything besides, at best, a lawnmower as a child.
And it's just so funny that the unions are not stepping up and correcting him. The prize, of course, is another $50 billion funneled to the 7% of the workforce that are non-government union members, so there's no reason to state the obvious: "Hey Barry, you're insulting the trades!"

Racism and Corruption? Government Commission going after Obama Administration again
RWB News: Last week an Obama-appointed Federal commission to investigate the BP oil spill reported that Obama and his administration were "not honest" with the public and were incompetent when it came to the oil spill. This week, the Civil Rights Commission has to deal with the "transparent" Obama administration by requesting more information concerning allegations of racism in the DOJ.
The Obama Justice Department can put an end to one of many scandals shadowing this administration. Did the DOJ tell employees not to investigate Civil Rights Violations when the victims were white? In 2008 members of the New Black Panther Party stood in front of voter polling stations, some members armed with billy clubs, intimidating voters. This is the same Black Panther Party that recently showed members on video preaching to "kill cracker babies," and the same ones that had dinner with Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last month.
A Justice Department supervisor who recommended pursuing a voter intimidation case against members of the New Black Panther Party testified that the Department of Justice Civil Rights division had engaged in reverse racism, refusing to bring charges in voting cases unless the victim is a minority.
After a 5-1 vote Friday, the commission will be asking Eric Holder on Tuesday to allow Justice Department employees to testify in its investigation — of which they cite "deep-seated and shockingly common attitudes favoring racially-selective enforcement of the law." Since 2009, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has sought information from the Department of Justice, much of which the department refused to provide despite its statutory obligation to 'cooperate fully' with such commission requests," the letter says. "Our original aim was to determine the reasons for and implications of DOJs dismissal of most of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation lawsuit and its narrow injunction against the remaining defendant." Many people are asking why would Eric Holder not allow members of his Voting Rights Section to answer a few simple questions under oath if there were nothing to hide?
This controversy is about the integrity of the voting process, which is the heart of our constitutional republic.
(Washington Times) The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights wants Attorney General H. Holder Jr., to allow Justice Department employees to testify in its investigation of "deep-seated and shockingly common attitudes favoring racially-selective enforcement of the law" within the department's Civil Rights Division.
The request is outlined in a letter to be delivered Tuesday to Mr. Holder, following a 5-1 vote Friday by the commission, seeking additional testimony and documents in its investigation of the department's handling of the New Black Panther Party case.
"Since June 2009, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has sought information from the Department of Justice, much of which the departmentrefused to provide despite its statutory obligation to 'cooperate fully' with such commission requests," the letter says. "Our original aim was to determine the reasons for and implications of DOJ's dismissal of most of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation lawsuit and its narrow injunction against the remaining defendant.
"Our current focus is on the following systemic issue: the growing evidence of a culture of hostility in the Civil Rights Division to the race-neutral enforcement of the civil rights laws that may involve both supervisory attorneys and some of your political appointees," it says.
The Justice Department has ordered employees subpoenaed by the commission for testimony to refuse to appear and has offered what thecommission has called "questionable and sweeping privilege claims" in refusing to turn over documents sought as part of the probe.
"Notwithstanding that interference, the commission has heard from eyewitnesses detailed allegations of malfeasance in the Civil Rights Division, which are at war with its core mission," the letter says, noting the testimony of Christopher Coates, former chief of the voting rights section, and J. Christian Adams, lead prosecutor in the New Black Panther case.
Mr. Coates testified Sept. 24 in defiance of the Justice Department prohibition that his supervisors said they were not interested in pursuing Voting Rights Act accusations against minorities who harass white voters. He said many within the Civil Rights Division "believe, incorrectly but vehemently, that enforcement of the VRA should not be extended to white voters but should be limited to protecting racial, ethnic and language minorities."
Mr. Coates has since been reassigned as an assistant U.S. attorney in South Carolina.
Mr. Adams, who left the department, testified July 6 that Justice Department officials instructed Civil Rights Division attorneys to ignore cases that involved black defendants and white victims. He said that "over and over and over again" the department showed "hostility" toward those cases.
He said the department had "abetted wrongdoing and abandoned law-abiding citizens."
The Justice Department has said it is "committed to comprehensive and vigorous enforcement of both the civil and criminal provisions of the federal laws that prohibit voter intimidation."
The Civil Rights Commission, in its letter, said testimony and affidavits it has received suggest "a broad culture of hostility to race-neutral enforcement of the civil rights laws," and asked Mr. Holder for "a thorough investigation and specific confirmation, refutation or detailed explanations … that the laws are properly enforced without regard to race."
In its letter, the commission also asked Mr. Holder:
• To waive any purported privilege that might apply to the commission's requests and promptly supply all the documents, e-mails and other material that have been withheld.
• To instruct Mr. Coates, Mr. Adams and other current or former employees who may come forward with similar information or accounts of malfeasance that they may testify freely.
• To instruct all other department employees the commission may subpoena to cooperate fully by turning over all responsive documents and testifying without restraint.
A civil complaint had been filed in the New Black Panther Party case by the voting rights section in January 2009 in Philadelphia after two of its members in black berets, black combat boots, black shirts and black jackets purportedly intimidated voters with racial insults, slurs and a nightstick. A third party member was accused of managing, directing and endorsing their behavior. The incident was captured on videotape.
Four months later, the Justice Department dropped the charges, saying "the facts and the law did not support pursuing" them.

Last month, we brought you the story of a Muslim comic book hero who will save the world using his silver wheelchair. That may not have been too controversial. However, the latest attempt to animate Islamic crime-fighters is sparking enough controversy to make up for the former's relative obscurity.
"Hide your face and grab the kids. Coming soon to a TV in your child's bedroom is a posse of righteous, Sharia-com pliant Muslim superheroes — including one who fights crime hidden head-to-toe by a burqa." That's how New York Post columnist Andrea Peyser introduces "The 99," a new animated show featuring Islamic superheros set to debut in January on The Hub, formerly Discovery Kids.
In April, President Obama praised the character's creator Naif al-Mustawa, saying that his "superheroes embody the teachings of the tolerance of Islam":
So what has Peyser upset if the characters are so "tolerant?" It's the comic's strict adherence to Sharia law, and that fact that "a secular nation" could "endorse a children's show aimed at pushing one religion," that has her sounding the alarm of "indoctrination."
"These Islamic butt-kickers are ready to bring truth, justice and indoctrination to impressionable Western minds," she says, citing the aforementioned burqa requirement ("hair-hiding head scarves are mandatory for five characters, not including burqa babe Batina the Hidden") and also the cartoon's refusal to ever show a man and woman together alone.
As more evidence, Peyser points out the cartoon has met the approval of a "Sharia board — which polices Muslim law — affiliated with an Islamic bank from which the show received financing." And while she fails to mention the board or the bank, she does quote a Times of London columnist who wrote last year that the show's mission was "to instill old-fashioned Islamic values in Christian, Jewish and atheist children."

People are becoming aware that FDR extended the Depression for years. Some question whether it was by design. The Democrats' current attempt to recreate the Big Government heyday of the 1930s leaves less question in that regard.

New York Suppresses Military Vote
Here's a story we've heard before (see here and here, for example). The Democrat-run establishment is suppressing the military vote:
More than one week after its extended deadline, New York still hasn't mailed out absentee ballots to all its 320,000 military servicemen and women and overseas voters, in clear violation of the MOVE Act, FoxNews.com has learned.
According to the 2009 MOVE Act, a state must send out its military and overseas ballots 45 days prior to elections.
New York was granted a waiver to this deadline by the Department of Justice and given an additional 15 days — until October 1 — to send out all its ballots.
The new deadline came and went, and still the ballots were not sent out for some of New York's most heavily populated areas, including NYC.
"The gravity of New York's failure cannot be overstated. With approximately 50,000 military and overseas voters in New York City alone, there is no doubt that the November elections could be altered by this failure," said Eric Eversole, a former Justice Department voting section attorney who recently started a nonprofit organization, Military Voter Protection Project, to protect military voting rights.
At last word, the ballots still haven't been sent. Even Mayor for Life Bloomberg and the Injustice Department have been forced to berate the New York State Board of Elections.
But eventually the bluster will die down, the headlines will fade away, and the skeevy Andrew Cuomo will be governor — thanks in part to thousands who risk their lives to defend our democratic system not be allowed to take part in it.

Because of the smug hypocrisy and Stalinist tactics of Obama's chief adviser David Axelrod, who accused the US Chamber of Commerce of being a shill for foreign interests, and when called on it demanded that the chamber prove a negative. Heh. By the way, with his attack on the US Chamber of Commerce, even liberal pundits like Juan Williams are noticing that Obama is anti-business:TAPPER: But what do you say to people who argue you are demonizing an organization for a charge that nobody knows if it's true or not?
AXELROD: Well I'm not demonizing the Chamber of Commerce. I'm simply suggesting to them that they disclose the source of the $75 million that they are spending in campaigns and put to rest, put to rest the questions that have been, that have been raised.
TAPPER: Isn't that like the whackjobs that tell the president he needs to show them his full long-form birth certificate so he can put to rest the questions that have been raised?
AXELROD: The president's birth certificate has been available to people.

AXELROD: Someone once in the course of this debate about whether we should have a law to force these organizations to disclose where they're money is coming from in the campaigns, someone said, and I think they're right – "the only people who want to keep things secret are folks who have something to hide." If the Chamber doesn't have anything to hide about these contributions, and I take them at their word that they don't, then why not disclose? Why not let people see where their money is coming from?
